With heppell back, I’ll be very disappointed if Parish’s midfield minutes get wound back and he gets plonked in the pocket for large chunks of the game.
That’s my point. I was replying to the comment from Woosha that Daniher playing depends on training today.Didn't Hooker do the same thing?
They're managing both of their training loads. I don't think it gives us any indication about whether they play or not.
I like. In: Heppell, Hurley, Draper, McKenna
Out: Ham, Gleeson, Phillips, Guelfi
B: Ridley - Zerk-Thatcher - Saad
HB: Smith - Hurley - McKenna
HF: Merrett - Parish - Heppell
HF: Stringer - Daniher - Stewart
F: Mosquito - Hooker - McDonald-Tipungwuti
R: Draper - Shiel - McGrath
I/C: Langford - Clarke - Redman - Snelling
Pretty much our best 22 - minus Ambrose, Fantasia and Zaka (arguably)I like.
If we got peak Raz back, i'd bring him in for Snelling.Pretty much our best 22 - minus Ambrose, Fantasia and Zaka (arguably)
It's getting harder to squeeze Hibberd in... Nah I can still find room. In: Heppell, Hurley, Draper, McKenna

Yeah this is the team. Trade Raz because he never plays. You'd think they all have 2 years except Hooker and we have Ambroseiin the wings. Quiet a few of our depth players got much needed experience this year. Just stay fit for once alreadyI like.
You can’t rotate your key forwards on and off the bench in today game, you’ll get absolutely creamed in the midfield if you did, rotations are structural, to take one away and use it on key forwards would be a disaster, that’s not even taking into account the quick back up.If Kennedy is out we have to be a big chance here. Hopefully Daniher plays just rotate him on and off the bench with Hooker.
I'd like to see minimal changes;-
OUT: Ham, Redman, Phillips
IN: Heppell, Hurley, Draper
Hurely Zerk Saad
Gleeson Ridley Smith
Merrett Shiel Heppell
Tippa Langford Mosquito
Stewart Hooker Stringer
Draper Parish Merrett
Bench: Clarke Guelfi Snelling Daniher
I mean you generally do (with a midfielder rotating forward at that point in time) but yeah generally you only have 6 forwards, 1 ruck, 7 defenders and 8 midfielders in a side. You can’t rotate your key forwards on and off the bench in today game, you’ll get absolutely creamed in the midfield if you did, rotations are structural, to take one away and use it on key forwards would be a disaster, that’s not even taking into account the quick back up.
You don’t rotate two players on and off the ground though which is how I read what was suggested, they are all in the rotation system.I mean you generally do (with a midfielder rotating forward at that point in time) but yeah generally you only have 6 forwards, 1 ruck, 7 defenders and 8 midfielders in a side.
probably didnt articulate myself very well here. the point I was trying to make was you can play both Daniher & Hooker as forwards if needed - just manage their game time (not swap them on and off the bench). We have flexibility in our forward line especially with Stringer and Langford who can both play on ball so you can put a resting mid someone like Heppel or Clarke forward, swing Stringer onto the ball for a burst and then Joe and/or Hooker gets a rest on the pine. You can’t rotate your key forwards on and off the bench in today game, you’ll get absolutely creamed in the midfield if you did, rotations are structural, to take one away and use it on key forwards would be a disaster, that’s not even taking into account the quick back up.
That would easily be our best team for the year, although very rustySomeone over on blitz that has previously had some inside word (nothing major news) is going with the team being
IN - Heppell, Hurley, Draper
OUT- Ham, Redman, Phillips
Both Daniher and BZT playing.
Good set of dukes for a wing. I like.I like the idea of using Heppell on a wing. Lets face it neither Cutler or Ham are playing all that well. Its been that way for quite a while now. Even at 80% Heppell playing the role is still miles better than either.
It also doesn't disrupt the synergy that is developing with Merrett, Shiel, McGrath and Parish.
