I would take just about anyone over Jayden Hunt to be fair, they couldn’t do worse and would get some experience in them.

Don’t mind if he’s sub and giving full games to kids in the wafl tho.

Archer Reid and Bazzo both named in the WAFL so it would seem Petch to be the travelling emergency - not named in the WAFL

great heavens it appears i have spoken too soon

Petch is the perfect travelling emergency- prefer him missing a game over one of our young players who need as much game time as we can pump into them whether that be AFL or WAFL

I wish we had Chad Morrison or Andrew Williams for this match.

Gross. Gross is the obvious answer.

Gross is the future, Tim Kelly isn't.

I get that Gross is "on the nose" at this point and appears to be out of favour with McQualter and his WAFL coach, but he's played good footy at times this year and in a historically bad team about to pickup get another wooden spoon, there's every reason to play the 18yr old over the 31yr old.

That’s fair

My counter would be Gross probably learns more playing as a mid in the WAFL side rather than a HF at AFL level

But they seem to be playing him as a HF in the WAFL which completely undermines my point

Kelly is being played presumably because they want to retain some experience and leadership in what is a very young side - if that’s the case then he needs to show some and impact games more regularly than he’s currently doing

Was invisible in his last WAFL game and got a clip from the coach for his lack of intensity.

Can’t promote him off the back of that.

Kelly was promoted off an invisible WAFL performance, tbf.
