Kelly the new gaff.
His last 3 years were just completely cooked. Sadly diminished how we remember him
Gaff had a sharp decline but he was never this bad. Gaff was averaging 20 touches on a wing in his second last season while not exceptional or as impactful as its been in his prime, the effort was still there even tho his body was letting him down. Gaff played 5 games(one as sub) last season and had as many +20 possession games as tk this year in 12 games.
Sure TK is naturally slowing down with age but it nowhere as shutting down like Gaffs was in his last couple seasons. TK just seems checked out and doesn’t give a **** and thats the frustrating thing.

Gaff was the defintion of the zapp Branagan quote the spirit is willing but the flesh is bruised and spongey. He never stopped trying.
Gaff and Kelly had the complete opposite issue. Gaff was mentally willing but his body just let him down. He lost 15m in his kicking in less than 12 months.... Kelly just doesn't want to do the hard stuff. He picks and chooses or gets damaging in the 4th quarter and everyone is tired so the game is loose and he isn't putting his body on the line.
That's a pretty big slight on Kelly, it must also be mentioned that raising 2 children with disability must be very challenging and my mind probably wouldn't be on footy as much as it needed to be in that situation either.
