That is precisely what Nic did to Aaron.
Naitanui was perfectly set for the mark; the pointed knee straight into the rib cage was completely unnecessary thus the serious injury was entirely avoidable.
Naitanui straight up realised he had the opportunity to hurt Aaron and did.
An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind

Nicnats use of the knee whilst marking & rucking has come back to bite him in the end. Its karma.

Mate, you honestly can't be serious. You think that Naitanui, regarded as one of the most genuinely nice people in the AFL, one of the most fair players in the competition would go out of his way to injure someone? How ****ing stupid can you be. Watching the footage back, he was not trying to hurt Aaron at all. Go back to brewing your conspiracy theories mate.

I wish people cared less about the derby, it’s just another game

Agreed.

Games against WCE are just 4 points one way or another. You can't waste more energy and potential extra injuries/suspensions on the one team - or you are short manned and knackered for the next game.

I don't think so, just frustrated.
As am I, its gone on too long now. 8th year of Lyon, and we we're supposed to be at the sustained success area.
Rosich's mantra. We haven't been ruthless, Harley being a prime example.
We've let A graders leave (Neale), and we've let Mayne, DeBoer, Crozier all leave and become very important players in new clubs.
Bad list mgt. We told Yeo he wasn't wanted (horrible decision), and we are about to lose our 9th Derby in a row.
Last time we did that was at our inception 25 long, success starved years ago.
Its just not good enough, and I for one am not tolerating it any more.
We’re not going to take it, we’re not going to take it anymore!
Very true though
