Patrick Keane has just tweeted that Hill is out. Replaced in 22 by Clancee

So I was wrong then.

Hilly trained really well yesterday, and with gloves on.

Any late changes are usually made 90 minutes before the game starts when the final team sheets are released.

I take it then that Hilly didn't fly which confirms the rumours from yesterday.

BTW- Tabs was on light duties yesterday which confirms a minor injury.

I suspect that Hilly is an “injury monitoring” rest i suppose and hope he isn’t actually badly injured (but people posted in Training that he looked pretty good). Some players can carry injuries or minor niggles into games (Macca in the GF for example) but can usually play out. I suspect that the mantra is over the next few weeks is that “any player with any injury concerns, however big or small, rest and focus on injury prevention exercises over the weekend”. That’s my guess anyway…

IMO Hilly can be injury prone more so than some of our other players. He had Quad and Hamstring issues all last year that saw him miss a few games…He even missed the 1st Derby this year due to hamstring and was subbed in the Port game. Rest up hilly, we need you for the finals :thumbsu::thumbsu:

Wonder who will be the sub ... Clancee or Morabito? You would think it would be Morabito to ease him back into it.
I'd like to see him start and run himself to exhaustion and then being subbed out. A bit like a greyhound, let him off the leash and watch him run.

I would think Mora sub and get full game into Clancee as someone else has already said.
I was only thinking this morning before I heard that Hilly was out, that on paper this was the best midfield group that the club has ever sent out. Oh well, we'll have to wait a bit longer for that to happen.

Sylvia to take the Sub vest for mine but we are playing Melbourne so I guess is Mora as the sub so Sylvia can show his old team mates how much his fitness has improved under RTB.

I hope you're right, but that vest seems to be stuck on Fish Pub these days like velcro.

I hope Clancee has a ripper as well just quietly; his pin-point accuracy and clearance work helped us win unwinnable games last year.

I remember and interview on ABC radio one day with one of the assistant coaches, can't remember which one but he said he was driving near Fyfe's place one day and it was absolutely pissing rain and he saw Nat in the park by himself with a footy practicing his skills in the pouring rain on his day off.

He doesn't have the touch he has by accident. He probably thought it was a great opportunity to practice his wet weather handling. Fyfey is a legit pro. Leaves no stone unturned in his preparation.

Freo twitter just posted a pic of Suttcliffe, Neale, Crozier and Fyfe at the wave pool in Darwin. So Crozier is there!

Don't think he will get a run unless there is a late injury though.
Crozier looks like he should be a CK underwear model with his frame. He needs to eat a few steaks and hit the gym. He'd get pushed off the ball by a light breeze.

Believe or not his older brother is a model currently building a considerable profile
