Only two trades left so I’d need heaps of luck to still be highly placed come years end, but . . . once upon a time, way back when, I was ranked number one! Whatdya mean ya don’t believe me? Now just wait a minute while I find the screen shot on this contraption of mine . . . !

Good morning gentle folks of the SuperCoach Community ......I woke up feeling refreshed after the Byes and looked forward to the clean air of R15 & beyond
First time I had actually improved my position over the Byes

Then came R15 ..... **** CARL .....**** Cripps ....****Heeney .....**** WW19 and his ludicrous Captaincy choices .....it is true, you feel so much better getting these things off your chest .....and **** you Hall

OK so now the journey starts again up the Rankings table ....step by step ....cm by cm as they say

It's not going to be easy ....not a lot of trades ....and Minefields seem set to blow my side apart in any match
OK Impey was a casualty of war ....Cripps was a casualty of my dumb choices ....now CoVid is adding an extra dimension to the game yet again .....fixture changes, time changes, and possibly even game delays .....I'm loving it ! ...nah not really

My advantage of Nic Nat having 5 home games ....hence a factor in me selecting him, has disappeared ....hopefully temporarily

I'm taking this all one game at a time .....R15 ticked off, no injuries .....can I navigate R16 with no injuries, other than a broken heart .....Can Cripps do something, the little ****er


Exciting game only from a SC perspective & as an owner of Touk Touk ......Marvel should suit him

CCJ should also have a good game against not much of a DEF from GC .....and if Lynch is back, will free CCJ to get an even worse defender .....we could also see more ruck minutes

It would be nice if Dusty could pull his finger out ....I mean I know everyone has the little splinter ....but a few big scores would sooth my ego

GOTR .....so many Fantasy Players .....it'll be hard to follow the game
Gawny versus Flynn .....not as one sided as you'd think ...Flynn's improvement has been astronomical & he'll genuinely challenge Big Max, who I will say, is not the automatic (VC) or (C) he once was

Gawn has only had one score above 125 in 9 rounds .....since R6

What's wrong with Piggy .....he's been on a downward spiral since his double ton .....surely this is the week to bounce back, but he's up against a formidible GWS midfield and De Boer

Jelly should be back to 100% this week .....Whitfield is WOW and the MCG will suit his gut running perfectly ....wouldn't be a bad (VC) this week

Taranto I can see struggling against the star studded midfields of both sides



Neale as (VC) against ADEL is one of my easier choices this week .....surely I can't stuff this one up

Daniher will kick 6 ......Lyons to show his old team how stupid they were to delist him .....I'm afraid, as a non Zorko owner, of what Zorko may do this week
He's not one to coast against lowly ranked sides .....and will IMO feast out



Please blow CARL up .....start again with Walsh, hopefully he can populate a new CARL

Zilliams .....I mean he's already done enough to CARL this year .....him, McGovern ....just WOW



Heeney .....the stadium will suit him ....surely he's embarrased, and the Coach has put a rocket up his clacker

My Man Nic Nat should feast out .....what a great trade, albeit his minutes slumped again last week, we should see more minutes and a 120+ score from him



Points , Points, Points everywhere .......Bont (C) why would you hesitate, the Brownlow is in his sights & he knows it ......Macrae a viable (C) for non owners of Bont

Ziebell and Hall hit the wall last week ......can't see Bullies locking down, so this may well be a shoot out & very entertaining footy

Not having Zorko, Mills and Laird has cost me. At least I've got most of the midfield studs though.

Watching Bont go nuts every week is very painful. Even ToukTouk just runs non stop, and tackles like a madman.

I just think it's crazy that of the top 16 averaging players (excluding Dunkley), I only have 6/16. It bloody hurts

I've been in the top 1000 since round 3, just bouncing around between 180th and 950th, so my starting team was good (for the first time ever). Went pure GnR, 12 expensive premos with 3x $200k to $300k players (only Zieb remains now), and 15 rookies.

No Cripps. Heeney came in for 3 weeks and then I ditched him in round 14.

I got a lot of consistent players averaging ~100, just none of the SP's. Should be able to stay in the top 1000, but I never had a chance of winning, or even top 200, maybe staying in the top 300 will be a stretch


Cripps all season would be painful. It's one of those picks that it's hard to let go, because one week he could suddenly smash out a 150. Also awkward price, and with trades running low.

Correct ....as long as nothing catastrophic happens with injuries, and you have enough trades .....you'll be rewarded for your consistency with a high ranking

There's still the element of luck required to win it .....mostly skill, but luck plays a part in any game

As a keen Backgammon player ....luck is an element you can mostly exclude, but not 100%

I think reading between the lines that this might be Tasmania telling the AFL to GAGF as a bit of payback just like the AFL has been saying to them about getting their own team down there.

Given the report is a few weeks away from being revealed .....I doubt this tantrum by the TAS Govt will have any impact

My personal view is there's no-way an Island of retiree's can support an AFL team ......it's just a pragmatic viewpoint

U17 and U19 National Netball Championships were also cancelled today. They were supposed to start next Tuesday in Hobart, and the NSW girls are already here and in isolation, so not just AFL being snubbed down here!

Yep, played Backgammon a longtime in Comps .....and as you know it's definitely a gambling game

I'd say so. The State League (Netball) team that I'm involved with down here had 5 girls in U17, and 2 in U19's. I know how devastated they were last year, so they will be down in the dumps I'm sure.

Footballers will be the same no doubt. When is the AFL Champs scheduled?
