Learnt: How can you have any confidence in AFL tipping/betting? What a season.

Disliked: G Coast being swamped by the Swans, expected a better contest.
Bottom feeders in crowds who abuse nearby players, knowing they can't retaliate

HATED: West Coast making Port look good. Richmond losing to let port take top 4 again. (as you can see I HATE port)

Liked: Hogan returning to the field, plenty of Tiger fans donned in purple, that a Riewoldt kicked the first and last goal of Maddie's Match.
Learnt: Saints fans possibly the quietest of all fans. At times in the first half it seemed eerily quiet. Performance too good to believe?
Disliked: Membrey's hit, likely to get himself rubbed out for 3

I respect anyone who can watch a replay of their team getting taken apart. I like watching the Crows but I'd never watch a replay of round 1.

I saw a small passage of play in the highlights and I gotta say, I have changed my mind.

I think so - we were sitting on the wing down on Level 1 and literally everyone was looking around at each other going, what the hell is happening!? I guess that's what can happen when we kick straight haha

Learnt: There is no outstanding favourite for the premiership this year.
Absolutely Hated: As a neutral I thought Melbourne's milking of the 30 second clock twice in the last minute of the game goes against the spirit of the game. Didn't like it and thought it detracted from the spectacle and excitement of the close finish of the game. Players should be forced to take the shot if they use more than the normal 7-8 seconds when umps should call "Take the set shot." A pass, even if marked, should be an instant PLAY ON. Better still, a ball up from the spot where the player had the kick. Every other form of time wasting in our game is punished. Eg. 50m penalty for slow or illegal return of the ball a la Reiwoldt.

Shane McInnes, is he the commentator calling with Dennis Commetti? Dont listen to radio much but tuned into Eagles Port Adel game on weekend and they were outstanding.
