Couldn`t see either of them being retained, didn`t do enough unfortunately.

I thought they did OK considering the conditions. What better time to play them than this week against the 15th placed team.

Ryder and Monfries were injured last week. But Jolley and Lonergan very stiff to get dropped considering how they played with limited game time.

I think it's just a matter of when those that are worthy of a spot come back, it's last in first out.

Can't really argue with that. Would have kept Longergan in though.

Essendons changes are pretty clear cut.

Both Monfries and Slattery are in Essendons first 22 and are simply replacing players who play a very similar role to them.
