Gaffs a lot cheaper and gives me more cash ($180,000 instead of $140,000)

Extra cash could come in handy for a final upgrade or injury trade down the line. :rainbow:
What about ...

Ouch. Was also my clear trade-in, don't think you can take the risk now. If it flares up, likely to be rested. Tricky situation though, if Adelaide are any chance of making the 8, can see them playing him through this.
Yeah, could end up in him being rested 1-2, he good get through. Very hard to know whether to take the risk. Think honestly it rules him out initially.

Wonder how long before the Crows hierarchy concede that it just isn't their year and start cotton wooling their stars.
Not the clubs style ......if a player requires an op then they may, ......however the norm is they warehouse only if forced to

Got Kelly mate.

Second time I've owned him this year. LOL!

Yep the old Roughead out, Roughead in maneuver in full effect. :$:thumbsu:
You procrastinated, postulated .....but we all knew it was always going to be Kelly .....you just stretched it out for Dramatic Effect

I traded Fyfe to Gaff .......gives me $243K in the bank & Options from here:

1. Trade Dusty to Macrae / Fyfe (both previously in my team)

2. Upgrade Cole to Simpson, Doedee to F7 ......and allows me to swing Sicily / McDonald back & fwd as required

Dusty / Rocky are my M8 / M9 Loop players at this stage

Yeah, that's what I meant. Say there are players who need ops/clean ups but they can play through it and are already booked in for post season surgery clubs sometimes move the date forward when they realise they can't make finals so the player doesn't miss as much or any of the pre-season.

Doubt it .....

Who's your next option Gutsroy?

Honestly not sure. Thought a little about Tay Adams actually in that range. Don’t see him going 120, but think he will see more time at the contest with Treloar out and could give consistent 105-110 output, see less risk in him than others.

Others around that price:
Gaff has never done it before for a full season but is well-priced for current output, a bargain if he keeps it up.
Beams has the ceiling, but durability rules him out.
Shuey good for 95-100, 10-15 off what you’d want, but so cheap he might allow a genuine quality M9/F7 swinger, which will compensate to a degree.
Sloane will be cheap next week but a only just back and Crows play a few sides with taggers on the run home.
JPK 70k more expensive has a history of finishing strongly, but I personally am not keen.
Callan Ward 60k more expensive, goes ok in bursts but has never sustained it etc.
Oliver will be great value in a week or two (I already have).
Honestly, though, absolutely no idea right now. Every bloke I look at and could fit price-wise has lumps.

Been overseas for two weeks and paid minimal attention to my team. Still ranked really well surprisingly.

Looking at Selwood, Lloyd as options for Fyfe. (Heeney to be covered by Ahern this week)

Then will require one more upgrade so that Taranto stays as cover for M/F. Or I can upgrade Taranto and bring in someone else as cover later on. Westhoff will eventually go back forward. Savage hopefully kicks on with webster out for a bit.

With only 5 trades after the Fyfe one I don't have much wriggle room. Any other ideas?
Any suggestions?

Sier in for Ryan/Smith in two weeks. May need another trade to get an upgrade worthy target. Could maybe look at someone cheaper than Selwood to faciliate that second upgrade

Nobody mentions Pendlebury. Why?

Reckon he's a chance to play sacrificial roles, personally. Although even in such roles, he's scored handily enough. Might just be a stigma without much foundation, but not for me.
