Can't downgrade a mid to Maynard? And upgrade Saad? I'm guessing Saad is D6?
Already used a trade getting Ablett in.

Could do it with Selwood for a downgrade & two upgrades next week.

?

Hi Guys, posted a few pages back. Sorry to post again, but rethinking a few things. Interested to know your thoughts:

12 trades and $89k - playing for league wins

OPTION 1

Week 1:
Saad>Glenn/Daniel
Hamling>Maynard

Week 2:
Griffen>Ablett
Lever>Picken

OPTION 2
Week 1:
Saad>Glenn/Daniel/Maynard etc
Hamling>Picken

Week 2:
Lever>Rookie (Fields, Knight, Laverde etc)
Griffen>Ablett

At the end of the day, It'll cost me similar amounts either way. I think the question comes down to: Are the bubble boys on offer this week will be better (JS as much as anything) than those on offer next week? Do I only trade in one of Glenn/Daniel/Maynard, or two of them?

FYI Team is below:

You don't have Saad, so neither option is possible.

After thinking about it for a long time.. I think I'll hold this week. That way I keep all of Motlop, McKernan and Steele for backup, I keep four trades and I get more information on how Griffen performs without Shiel and how Ablett goes with his return. If I had more trades, I'd go for it. I just think with the inevitable injuries, I'll need them come the end of the season. Warm bodies are underrated :p

The only time griff has scored passably this year is with coniglio out- he came back last week and griff spudded again

just go option 2, get more points this week and there are still a bunch of decent rookies to choose from

Bailey Dale (likely sub) and Karl Amon (Omitted) to Rockliff and Glenn.

Can only afford GAJ if I trade out Lever instead of Dale, feel like I'm better to hold Lever and get GAJ in later.

Leaves me with -

DEF: Shaw, Hodge, Ibbotson, Burgoyne, Yeo, BSmith [Lever, Edwards]
MID: Fyfe, Pendlebury, Beams, Kennedy, Neale, Parker, Sidebottom, Rockliff [McKenzie, Lambert, Glenn]
RUC: Goldstein, Jacobs [Cox]
FOR: Martin, Gray, Swan, Dahlhaus, Ziebell, Deledio [Steele, Daniel]

also, $93,600 and 7 trades. Intending to trade BSmith -> Picken, Neale -> GAJ, Ziebell -> Someone? Thinking Adams post-suspension. Cash being generated via Lever, Edwards (slowly), Lambert (slowly), Glenn, Steele (quickly) and Daniel.

7 trades left, 30k

Option 1
Hamling to Maynard
Boston to Daniel via DPP
Play Steele over Selwood this week
Selwood to Ablett next week
4 trades left

Option 2
Selwood to Rockliff
Boston to Maynard (If I'm going to cash grab one more time may as well be now)
5 trades left, no god, some spare money

help. me.

you're basically asking "to Ablett or not to Ablett"
a choice you must make on your own my friend :)

option 2 for me

You won't get any useful help unless you post your whole team.
Ok which 2 rookies should I trade in... Trading out Nelson and Mckenzie...

Glenn

Maynard (covers a donut, but it isn't really important as I am going for league wins and playing against a spud this week)

Daniel (allows me to put Steele into the mids for forward cover)

Then get Gaz next week, as next week i would have 9 trades and 350k in the bank

I don't understand why are you even asking for advice here when you have already made your mind up on what your only options are and what you plan on doing going forward. And not even advising current bank. You don't want advise, you just want a pat on the head and be reassured about what you've already decided to do.

The only thing people need to know is what your team looks like pre-trades and how much $ you currently have in the bank. If you want truly helpful advice, there is no point in leading readers to where you want to go.

Well my question was simply what two rookies should I pick out of Glenn, Maynard and Steele? Then you said I should post my team if I wanted a response so I did?

I haven't made up my mind that is why I am asking people who I should trade in, which is what I thought this thread was about?

Is it worth trading out Swanny? He's been really up and down this year, and I reckon it could be a good time to trade him out for a top line premo. BE of 86, playing West Coast this week.

He hasn't had many great scores this season, apart from a 150 in the forst couple of rounds and more recently a 130 in his 250th match. I think he'll stick around the 95ish mark from here on out. Thoughts?

looking at the wrong team? M9 ;)
LOL. Sorry. So used to seeing him in Defense :). Don't think I've ever seen him in the midfield :thumbsu:

How about Saad to Maynard to keep your DPP link and Griffdog to Yabbbbbbblet??

Worry about next week next week. Let's Lever moo one more week before upgrading him to a Premo. Only uses three trades that way.

Again, you can't expect people to give you decent trade advice without advising your pre-trade bank $

Well as I had already named the players i was trading out, plus the options I'm looking to trade in are all the same price, my Bank doesn't actually affect my question at all. I seriously asked one question about which of 3 rookies I should trade in... That's all.

Dayne Beams OR Paddy Dangerfield? Their performance in SC finals (rounds 19-22 of H&A season) has a major weighting on this decision....money isn't too much of a concern.

I've never understood why people "exclude" games. It is what it is.

Take Fyfe's two highest scores out and he drops 5 off his average too

If you use your theory and compare Apples with Apples by going through for all the forwards and take out their top two games, Swan will still be top 6, where he currently sits.
