Sucks that I have to get rid of Gray the spud. How he couldn't ton up vs Carlton after being on 50 at half time is beyond me. They are ****e Robbie you clown!

Fyfe -> Kelly or Gaff
Gray -> Adams or Mrouch/Whitfield

One of those combos. I didn't really watch the Pies game was Adams in the mid heaps?

I think..

Fritsch - Heppell
Mihocek - Lynch

Don't really want to trade Mihocek out but need the cash. Leaves me with 67k. Ahern downgrade next week and upgrade Gowers to a premium forward hopefully

Lets play a game guys! Pick which rookie goes first...Spargo, Worpel, Redman, Rice, Brayshaw.

I hate them all equally :D:rolleyes:

Brayshaw last - he is playing and generally good for around 70 ppg. Redman, Worpel and Spargo all not playing (I think) - so either Rice (before he loses value) or whoever generates enough cash for the trades you are looking for.

Rice may go next week for me, Brayshaw stays a bit longer (perhaps)

My thoughts exactly - geez hasn't Brayshaw been a solid rookie, perhaps overshadowed by Fritta a bit.

That being said with Fritta's match ups next few weeks I'm fine hanging onto him until a real poor score.

Fyfe > Sier
Naitanui > Grundy

Banking 308k for a double upgrade next week.
Subject to change

Given up on Gray, and just about the season haha. Can’t catch a break, my weekly trades either have a role change out of the blue (Gray) or get injured that same week (Macrae, Trel, Fyfe). Playing the long game now Gray —> Sier, E.Phillips —> Narkle, holding Fyfe. With any luck those two will peel off another couple of 80s while Fyfe recovers. Heeney, Heppell and Grundy my targets over the next couple of weeks. Should be pretty easy upgrades for first two.

Genuinely think Gray would be a top 4 midfielder if Krazy Kenny played him as a pure midfielder resting forward.
Happened a few weeks ago, thought they’d finally found a mix that allowed him to score points. Always going to be hard with SPP, Wines, Rocky, Polec etc running through there and Gray kicking 3 goals a game. No need to change it up, works very well from a football perspective but not fantasy.

Austin -> Q Nark (via J Smith DPP)
Cunico -> M Crouch

$0k in the bank.

Completes my midfield: Titch, Kelly, Cripps, Cogs, Merrett, Wines, Crouch, Rocky.

Tossing up which 2 I start out of Gray, Fritsch and Narkle?

Plan next week is Banfield down and Burton to Laird.

Banfield > Narkle
Murphy > Simmo
0k + Fyfe hold

or

Fyfe > Laird
Banfield > Narkle
371k

Second option means Stef > Grundy and Telly > Premo the following week.

Ed Phillips > Narkle
Taranto > McLean

Taranto just too inconsistent and can't put up with regular 60ish scores and low ceiling anymore.

second option is to keep Taranto and trade Waterman > Rockliff..

Trading Rice, don’t have much coin so looking at a budget premium, which is best out of Hurley or Wingard?
Port have a pretty good run home and plenty at AO.

Are Waterman & Taranto both on field?
Both ok options, getting McLean is the better of the two for now. Rockliff still having poor quarters from a fantasy standpoint.

Am I stupid for thinking of holding Fyfe?
Hoping it's only 2-3 and my team will be the same strength on-field post trades (albeit with him riding the pine).
Just seems frustrating to sideways again after doing it all bye rounds.
For now, I've traded but being one of the many that went from 1 hamstrung Premo to another, I'll run out of trades before I get the chance to cash in all maxed rookies. Be a waste of a decent cap.
My midfield was finished weeks ago, then Macrae to Treloar, then Fyfe. Running out of high end mids.

Ouch, that's a rough run.

With Fyfe out I could go:
Sideways trade - Telly and Narkle or Sier on field, D6 rookie
Bench Fyfe - Telly, Narkle and Sier on field, defence complete
I plan to loophole Narkle (with Ahern) so have effectively two swings at one rookie score.
I sideways'd far too often through the byes to see the benefit of it again.

FFS, my loop hole emergency (Sier) wasn't saved as an emergency so I copped a donut and a 30 point loss in my cash league :( To make things worse, he had Titch captain and I had Lloyd VC and I still would have won.

I'm keen on Shuey @500k, anyone else?

Might have to do a bit of a gamble and go Brayshaw > Sier so that I can go Burton > Laird. Laird seems the biggest priority to get in this week and I can find the cash to get my midfield complete over the next few weeks.
I see no risk here, just a good old one up/one down

Yeah the only risk is that this means that I either start Sier or Narkle on the field. I just think Laird is the stand out must bring in this week which means putting off finishing my midfield and instead completing my defence.

Fyfe's score means he's now lost value for the year, he's consistently gone down in value each week since round 8. Somehow that escaped my notice :(

I've currently done some DPP shuffling which has allowed:
Spargo > Narkle
Fyfe > Laird

It means I no longer have to play Rice at D6 (now E1), and can move Ahern to my fwd E1. This week I had 2 decent mid emergencies in Andy Brayshaw & Ahern, but no forward cover.
