I have S Black in my team but i was thinking of trading him for D Cross or K Cornes. But i see that it looks likely that he will play. Im still considering trading him though because chances are he will be playing injured for the rest of the year and will probably miss a few games. I also have Palmer who i was going to upgrade to gablett once his price drops a little.

cos hes still not going to get good scores and Valenti has a BE of -32 and also enables me to trade Adcock for Johnson

Im tossing up between bringing in "Newman and Lucas" or "Bradshaw and O'Keefe" for the injured Myers and Burton.

Finding it very hard to split the two options.

If I bring in O'Keefe for Burton the maximum I can spend on a backman for Myers is $265,600 (as I have $41,500 in the kitty)

People you should be concerned about;
Cloke (getting into some form; may not be an issue)
Tredrea
Wilkes
Myers

What I would do is get some cash by downgrading Myers. I downgraded him to Head which looks like the best option going around.
This will leave you with 146,700.
With this I would upgrade Tredrea to Didak/O'Keefe. Didak is the better option but getting O'Keefe will leave money for upgrades later on.

Didak like I said is the better trade so saying you get him thats an 87,700 upgrade which will leave 59k.

Another option is downgrading Porps which will leave you with about 220k which you can upgrade Tredrea to Didak easily and then upgrade Palmer (peaking) unless you want to keep Cotchin on field..

Also Wilkes could get upgraded

i traded porpy for bradshaw to free up cash.....

now i can trade burton for either franklin or didak

it's an interesting decision of consistency vs inconsistency

Franklin has a good run home while didak has shown he has the ability to average 100+

Though 8 trades at this point is quite a few - so he has the luxury of another downgrade anyway.

I just don't like trading out blokes with shortish term injuries - i play for the league win - so overall points don't mean much!

anyway - i am keeping porpz - i am low on trades and need the great man back and firing come DT finals
