Yeah i dont like to trade out short time injuries either.
With 8 trades left he is able to downgrade him to make some cash
As you can see no-one is really replacing Porps in his team (maybe Tredrea)...

For me I would go the risk of Selwood; many would disagree but he has been playing well in the West (apparently) and should play more games since WCE are 'tanking'

eddy looks an alright player by his scores but are they deceiving? i havnt watched any football for 3 weeks so havnt seen him play.

I'm thinking of trading out Ablett.
With both Ablett and Palmer out, and Armfield injured and Browne dropped, I'll be 2 men down if I go into the game as is. With only 2 trades remaining for the season and Ablett rumoured to be out for an extended period of time, it's too much money to be sitting on the pine. I could trade in Valenti for Browne, but he's no monty to play all 22, and a Bartel or Kornes will likely average almost identical to Ablett anyway.
Someone talk me out off it before I do something I regret...

I think Bartel will average around the same but with 2 trades I would be waiting a week. What if he is back killing it next week?? Only rumours at this stage...I'm thinking of trading out Ablett.

True...but 2 men down hurts. And I don't exactly trust the Cats when it comes to injury either - Ottens was one week away for 12 weeks last year.

Is 3 trades with next to no cash in the bank and king and the chad in the backline too risky?
I'm upgrading palmer and really want jimmy but if I get corey then I will have an extra 35k in the bank when shit hits the fan later on with injuries,etc. Who should I get?

I have 4 trades and 57k in the bank and I'm think either Scott Lucas (253k), Shannon Grant (260k) or Leon Davis (295k) for Porplyzia. I can get anyone up to 363k which means i can get Gia/N.Brown/Murphy/Franklin but if i go down this path, i won't have much money to upgrade Morton when he gets dropped.

Thread on here just said that Davis was a late withdrawal (not sure if its true though) which I think was your 1st preference so you'll probably rule him out unless you have an emergency. Out of those mentioned, I would choose Lucas. With Lloyd playing up the ground, he's their main forward target.
Decided to go with Grant, the coin said so
I think he is probably the safer option. He has 90% playing which means he really has to play terrible to get less than 60. I'd take anything for 70-80 each week which he is capable of. Had really only three bad games other than that, he's been pretty good. My last three risks have paid off so fair (Edwards, Brennan and C.Johnson), hopefully this one does as well.

Def Lucas out of those 2! The upside is far greater. He can only get better
If you're stuck with two zeroes especially those of the calibre of Ablett and Palmer don't trade them out. You'l die in finals time when the big guns get injured or get rested.

In all likelyhood, will end up being a stupid move if Ablett is back and tearing it up again next week. However if Ablett does end up missing several games then it could be a great move to give me a boost up the rankings.
Hope that Ablett's price falls enough that I can get him back in for DT finals!

Dont worry about trading out Ablett if your brought in Bartel.
Ablett is a worry and he may be out for the whole season which we will find out about.
If this is true I will downgrade him to Swan leaving myself with one trade
Which will be to downgrade/upgrade Stevens (if he gets 3 low scores in a row) or upgrading Porps
