Im not sure.. didnt hear it but if he is ready this week I dont think Craigy will be that excited to bring him in.Didn't Craigy say he'll miss at least 1 more?
What're you new?????
i dont get you???
Get rid of Ablett. I think he has peaked and you can use his money elsewhere.
Franklin 337k - Bargain price but with a hard schedule i wouldn't expect an average of 95+, probably more like 85-90 unless he starts kicking straight and stops giving away 5 free kicks each game. Extra money can come in quite handy, especially later in the year when people are low on trades, a little more expensive than the other good options available but probably has more upside.
O'Keefe 310k - Pretty good price but his form of late has been very poor, probably due to the greater attention he is getting. The Swans have a pretty difficult run home especially towards the last few rounds which could dent his scores.
Stokes 307k - Another Geelong player that scores well but is fairly erratic in his scores. Very good price for someone who is averaging 84 but Geelong's schedule is horrific and definately will not score as high as he has.
B.Miller 312k - Might be surprised i included him but since Bailey has changed a few things 4 rounds ago, he's averaged 90 over that period. Very few selections, could add a little excitement to your add.
L.Davis 295k - Very interesting looking at his numbers. When Collingwood win, he averages 91 but when they loose he averages 63. The rest of the season looks OK for the pies even though they have to play Hawthorn and Sydney, every other game they play they should win. Therefore he should average around 83 give or take one or two. 295k is a fairly good price for someone who could average 83. Again not many selection so would be something different.
Scott Lucas 253k - Most people know he is a gun but has his consistent high scoring game past him? To be fair he has come back from a knee injury and it does take time to get back to full fitness and the match conditions, maybe the 100 last was a sign he could get back to averaging 90 from now on? Definately worth considering, very high risk seeing as though he's got 40's since he has come back but at that price is mighty tempting. Also another thing to note is that he loves the Telstra Dome and hasn't really shown he can score well on other grounds this year, 3 of their last 7 games are at the TD.
Why is Didak's name not being mentioned more?
Im almost certainly doing Burton>>Didak.
What about Robert Murphy next week? Has a pretty massive b/e from memory, could drop 30k+. Considering he is avergaing about 95 on the season, he looks to be the clear standout.
I think forwards like Didak and Deledio are the type of players who, unless you have them, never seem like the go-to-guys. They don't have the aura of a Pav or Brown even though they score better this year. I know I picked them as mid-priced forwards at the start of this year not really believing that I'd actually picked them.
Porpz to O'Keefe or Stokes? Cant decide! O'Keefe is a great 80-90 ppw player whereas Stokes is a 60-120 point player. Scotty Lucas is another option but Im not considering him as much purely because of his age
Saying that, i like the look of Leon Davis at 295k. As i've pointed out he has averaged 91 when the Pies win of the course of the year. With a fairly easy schedule, they would start favourites in at least 5 games, probably six as they have the wood over the Swans. Therefore high scores could come regularly and could push and average of 85-90 for the rest of the year.
Cheers for that CruiserHave you seen Geelong's schedule?
Bulldogs (2nd on the ladder, also 3rd for Points Conceded)
Hawthorn (3rd on the ladder)
Richmond (2nd Points Conceded)
Melbourne (Over the past 3 weeks is 1st)
Sydney (1st Points Conceded)
North Melbourne (Always hard matches)
West Coast (16th Points Conceded)
Probably won't holt the Bartel's, Corey's, Ablett's of the team but would dent a few of the less quality players like Stokes. I don't see Stokes averaging more than 70 with that schedule, do you?
It is tough as O'Keefe's form of late has been poor but i think i'd go with O'Keefe, the safer option. Saying that, i like the look of Leon Davis at 295k. As i've pointed out he has averaged 91 when the Pies win of the course of the year. With a fairly easy schedule, they would start favourites in at least 5 games, probably six as they have the wood over the Swans. Nice work.
I've got Burton and Porps with 4 trades left. I have about $5,000 in the bank...
Not much value around other than ROK...
Thinking maybe take a risk on Lucas and grab a $370,000 player. Thoughts?
You love your unique players don't you. Thinking out of the box, I like it![]()
