Round 16 trades

[Dizzy Stuff]

That rubs salt in the wound... wasted two trades last week on malceski to enright and now he has been named again...and in the middle. 4 trades left, really wish I had used those trades to get rid of Giles. Will just have to hold on til finals now.

I've been stung by Malceski as well. I attribute it to the Greg Broughton curse. I started with Broughton, then traded him out after two ordinary scores to Malceski. For the next 10 weeks or so, Broughton plays pretty well and Malceski spuds it up before eventually getting dropped. I hold on to Malceski, figuring that when he comes back into the side his scores will improve, before finally getting sick of him and trading him out. The week I do so he's named as a late in and scores 100.

Lesson learned: never pick Greg ****ing Broughton. He manages to cause headaches even after you've gotten rid of him.

Plan to turn Porps into Goodes. My big problem is Bugg. With nothing on the bench and no additional money, who can I turn to?

Get Goodes now - he will go up in price. Danger will go down, so if you decide you want him later you will be better off.
Danger has a fantastic run home for the SC finals though, so keep that in mind.

This week I traded McDonald to Goods, Ryder to Jacobs

I would like another upgrade in my backline, but will instead save my last 2 trades for finals.

With Zorko, Pfeiffer and Dickson I am comfortable that I can see out any injuries in my mid/fwd, but my defence is a real worry! (Even copped a donut last week) So if anyone has suggestions for defence, let me know

Ok im pretty much shot for the season, but am open to any suggestions to try and make finals and do some damage against my mates and collect some prize money...
2 trades left, 113k in the kit. Im currently 11th and playing a bloke who is 14th and averages 1943 pts per round.

Suckling looks great value right now and had good scoring potential. Scotland is another good one. Now do mine.

Yeh Mumford is usually my go-to guy in the ruck, he won my cash league for me last year. Had him at the start of this year, but not getting him back in. Can't take the risk. Im going with Jacobs instead, which feels a lot safer for an extra 40k! I assume Mumford is your only real option for cash though, i guess it depends on how much risk you want to take.

Looking at bringing in Couch/Baguley/Aylett as these guys are DPP. Derickx is an option too (for Redden).

Don't know much about these guys, except Couch. Who is the best option? Obviously job security is a big positive.

Natanui for my money. Very consistent scorer, hardly a score under 100 this year.

I would be curious to see if there is a past correlation between Franklin not playing and a higher Roughead score however that may be less relevant with Roughead in the ruck the past 2 seasons. Personally I would slightly lean toward Roughead. Do you have the cash for Nic Nat?

Thanks, but couldn't afford any of those. Decided I'd be better waiting a week on Goodes, and Trading Bugg and McDonald out for Birchall and McIntyre.
