Possibly - but that is irrelevant.

If the Eagles are the second best team in the comp then the chicken chokers at AFL house should box up the cup and send it to us now.

RTB is five moves ahead of these ******s. It's all playing out just as he wants it to.

Hail Ross. Hail the new dawn.
Love your optimism, cheers

Nah

He is just a little out of form. Still best 22 just giving the young legs a rest

The giants reserves average winning margin is 130 points. So will give him some confidence back
Simmo make sure you get down to the GWS reserves game in your Freo gear and cheer McCarthy. Let him know we're all waiting for him to come over.

The real questions going to be, is he best 22 when Patton's back? Patton + Cameron + McCarthy + Tomlinson + Resting Ruck is too many talls. Even if Patton's the resting ruck, that's too many talls

Exactly offer him a good deal, not stupid and see if he is interested in going home, contracts and player movement is easier these days. The key is McCarthy has to want to come home , Freo should be into his manager and if there a yes or even a maybe there should be a deal acceptable for both sides .

If the trading of future draft picks happens would we be happy to give our next two first round picks for him? Still probably not enough given they should be late first rounders.

Maybe but still not convinced that Zac Clarke would not interest them. They have three youngish rucks where IMO Lobb is the only one that could make it. It will be interesting to see if they loose few at years end could maybe want a Mz type. Their crowds have been getting smaller they need to make sure success starts or it'll be the greatest afl stuff up of all time.

I think it should be enough. They have so many first round draft picks running around in the 2's and they have to cut list numbers this year. There are going to be players that fall off the edge and they know it so they will want to keep the first rounders coming in the door. The appear to be set to lose Treloar this year who will net them a nigh first rounder or 2, perhaps they would take a couple of future first rounders and set up their next few years at the draft because they aren't going to be finishing as low on the table for a while.
Man to be in that position . . .
