Wouldn't have thought lolWill speed be a factor in the wet?
SummaryMin 6Max 14Showers.Possible rainfall: 1 to 4 mm
Chance of any rain: 90%Melbourne area
Cloudy. Very high (95%) chance of showers over eastern suburbs, high (80%) chance elsewhere, most likely from the late morning. Winds west to northwesterly 20 to 30 km/h increasing to 25 to 35 km/h in the middle of the day.
graham should be in
I agree with that. Rioli would have to not touch the ball for a month to get dropped.Reckon Baker and Ross still ahead of Graham. Yes, he was good in a GF. Done fu** all since along with Butler and Rioli. The latter very, very lucky.
Will speed be a factor in the wet?
this is our best strength i reckon, 15 automatics and another 12 role and/or horses for courses soldiers, but 27 don't fit into 22, when everyone up and running.Geez some pretty good players named as emergency. Caddy, Graham, Higgins, Baker. Wouldn't mind any of them in the side by finals.
Will take time ..... hopefully they work it out in finalsOh still a small sample pool as I thought they were ordinary together and a lot of work needed to be done with them working out a system together.
Distance kings – average distance covered per match (minimum of two matches in 2019)
At 192 centimetres tall, Ryan Garthwaite is an unlikely endurance athlete, but as one of Richmond's few fit key defenders, he has had to clock up the kilometres. There's no surprise Ellis and Lambert, both noted runners, complete the top three.
1. Ryan Garthwaite: 15.60km per match
2. Brandon Ellis: 15.45km per match
3. Kane Lambert: 14.71km per match
Distance kings – single-match records for 2019
Just four players take the top 10 records for Richmond, with Kane Lambert and Jack Graham also featuring. The wide expanses of Optus Stadium pushed Ellis and Garthwaite, while the defender's record game against the Bombers is even more impressive considered it was played in torrential rain.
1. Ryan Garthwaite: 16.76km v Essendon, round 10
2. Ryan Garthwaite: 16.69km v Fremantle, round eight
3. Brandon Ellis: 16.44km v Fremantle, round eight
Speedsters – highest speeds recorded in 2019
Half-back flanker Markov has recorded the highest speed in 2019 not just for Richmond but the entire competition. Surprisingly, none of Richmond's large mosquito fleet of small forwards feature, with the highly athletic 194cm Balta taking out the minor placings.
1. Oleg Markov: 37.40km/h v Collingwood, round two
2. Noah Balta: 34.96km/h v Hawthorn, round nine
3. Noah Balta: 34.92km/h v GWS, round three
Season records
Total distance covered for season 2019: 3932.2km (11th)
Total distance at high speed for 2019: 579.9km (1st)
Total sprints for season 2019: 3909 (1st)
Single-match records
Total distance single-match record for each club: 289.3km v Carlton, round one
Total distance at high speed single-match record: 46.3km v Western Bulldogs, round seven
Total sprints single-match record: 339 v Western Bulldogs, round seven
Summary: Unsurprisingly for a team that prides itself on manic pressure from small forwards, Richmond has both the highest number of sprints and the longest distance covered at high speed in the competition. Interestingly, the greatest number of sprints came from a match the Tigers lost badly, against the Western Bulldogs at Marvel Stadium. - Sarah Black
Moist ,,maybe,, ,can't see t the weather having any effect on the game tomorrow
Yeah airports from Sydney closed due to winds sadly they will make itIs it true that the Giants haven't made it to Melbourne yet?
hopefully they have sore backs from sitting around in plastic airport chairsYeah airports from Sydney closed due to winds sadly they will make it
kim jong un has a habit of 'encouraging' his generals as well.Wonder whether we are now seeing the beginning of a process where Dimma mixes and matches his players in a search for the most effective combination for the upcoming finals. I can't recall him ever having this spread of quality at his disposal. There may also be an element of signalling the need for players to bring everything to their games otherwise more committed players will replace them. A bit like Napoleon executing one of his generals for not being sufficiently aggressive - to encourage the others.
No Jeremy Finlayson to ass 5 goals this time
I was actually hoping he would play just to see if we could make him bagel it up this time ala Harry TaylorNo Jeremy Finlayson to ass 5 goals this time
For sure. Rioli's form does look to be building though so I'm happy that he's given the opportunity to work in to top form. He mightn't be far away.Rioli is clearly in a relationship with dimma
Caddy should be in if it's wet - he loves the slop eats it up. His mudder was a mudder.

Napoleon was tall for a Frenchman in his era - 5'7", whereas the average was 5'5".....but your point is taken.Napoleon would have fitted in perfectly with our team of short people in the forward Line
Unusual decision to leave out Graham given the conditions. Surely there's a reason that we can only speculate on. I can only think that in this 4-week block he wants Graham to rest up and be super Fresh vs CollingwoodGrahams been in great form lately, averaging 9 tackles a game over the last 4 weeks, averaging 18 disposals. Weird selection for what will be a cold and possibly wet day.
As he was not named in the 2’s, would say he is ‘on hold’ subject to weather/ground conditions.Unusual decision to leave out Graham given the conditions. Managedmust have broke a team rule and got dropped, makes no sense otherwise
