Nah get Longy in, we're a different team after the bye, i think he will suit the gameplan being played and i reckon he's got the ability to lose his opponent and be a solid link man going inside 50, he's an instinct action player.

If he can commit to chasing hard and then working back as well as snagging a goal a game he's got Timothy well and truly covered

I thought Flynn played well tonight

He’s just too bloody slow. The play where he kicked a goal after the Pies gave away a 50, the Eagles were streaming forward and had numbers ahead of the ball, and Flynn stepped back after marking and was just looking around (and was lucky enough to have a Pies player infringe). Compare that to Kelly shortly after who took a high mark and just turned and played on; the resulting passage of play wasn’t immaculate but it did result in a pretty easy goal.

As for changes, I typically don’t mind keeping in a senior presence but Cripps really offered next to nothing, which is a bit alarming coming off a freshen up week. Great career but it feels like this is probably near the end of the road unless he wants to take on some sort of coaching/playing role primarily with the Beagles next year.

Flynn's tank is shit so when he gets tired he gets very slow
For a guy in his mid 20's its a major major weakness

AFL could easily do Friday night double headers when daylight saving is a thing, from memory first Sunday in April is cessation of daylight saving in eastern states.

Would need regular games in WA so will never happen.

The AFL did a few double headers around 1999/2000, with the WA game starting quite late at the WACA - late enough it would have finished after midnight in Melbourne.

The Kelly dropped calls are weird, he's a legend of the club and you want him banished to the WAFL.

There were a lot of players that played against Collingwood, but you cannot deny that Kelly was one of them. He strikes confidence in the face of defenders. Out of all the players on our list he is easily in the top 40.

He is easily the greatest Indigenous-Chilean football player we have ever seen
