AFL could easily do Friday night double headers when daylight saving is a thing, from memory first Sunday in April is cessation of daylight saving in eastern states.

Would need regular games in WA so will never happen.
Can’t do a double header this week. Because it would mean reducing the really important and incisive pre- and post game diarrhoea to discuss the HUGE match between the ‘traditional rivals’.

The Kelly dropped calls are weird, he's a legend of the club and you want him banished to the WAFL.

There were a lot of players that played against Collingwood, but you cannot deny that Kelly was one of them. He strikes confidence in the face of defenders. Out of all the players on our list he is easily in the top 40.

He is easily the greatest Indigenous-Chilean football player we have ever seen

Legend of the club? He's not in my outs this week as I thought it was his best game for some time but thats a fair dollop of mayonnaise.

Without potting Kelly himself, that trade absolutely crippled the club. He's a shadow of the player we signed up for and has always come across as a selfish player (in football terms) that's in it purely for himself.

In his first final for the club, with everybody playing… Gaff, Shuey, Yeo, Gov, Nicnat, all the boiz... Kelly had 12 disposals.

I appreciate the fact he was our best player in 2023 when the club was at the pits and he was able to stay on the park and play a full season when everyone around him was injured or awful, but I won't be calling him a legend of the club myself.

Seems a good fella and I respect him just looking after his family by getting as many years out of his football career as he can, but the sooner the club closes the book on the Tim Kelly chapter the better.

The only thing she jokes about are my calves 💔

Sorry gaiz, was legit at the gym and just skimming posts. Piss poor from me but about on par with my usual level.

Lachie Whitfield has been ruled out of the Giants trip to Perth - he won’t face the Eagles. The turnaround is just a bit too tight after his concussion against Gold Coast. Kieren Briggs will be a test after his ankle injury

Briggs out would be handy.

When you see serious posts saying that Jack Williams can be our Patrick Cripps, but even better, it's easy to see how one could read a post calling Tim Kelly a legend of the club as serious too.

Tl;dr I pulled a Dark Sharks but didn't post about it 👀

The Giants are considering resting a sore Jesse Hogan for another week rather than travelling west. Stephen Coniglio will return through the VFL after 13 wks out.A big call to be made in the ruck. Nick Madden may keep his spot over the fit again Kieren Briggs. #AFLEaglesGiants

its only fair given we are resting McGovern, Allen and Waterman.

Gross needs to come in this week. With how we played on the weekend he will slot straight in.
I think he was a little ahead of the team when he last played and we weren't moving the ball quickly or cleanly enough meaning he was a bit ahead and out of the play a bit. (I know what I'm trying to say but not sure how to put it)
With what Tmac has brought in with his quick thinking and ball movement it has helped others improve already and somehow zapped the team to be quicker and cleaner. Hall also was a good inclusion for that inside hardness and extraction. Gross will just complement the midfield with his run and want to be involved.
If he does come in for Hunt then we have Harley, Hough, Hall, Gross and old man Graham with cameos from Brockman and Ryan. Good look into the future. (OMG I forgot Hewett)

Would like Champ and Bazzo to get a game but not sure who goes out barring injury

concerning day for the board when posters are taking the guy with the tim robinson profile pic seriously

6 day break after a late Melb game against a team looking to play finals and coming off a bye and who perform reasonably well after a bye.
