Sylvia was OK. Hard to get possessions in our forward line but I think he had more possessions than Ballas/Mayne/Apeness. Laid some good tackles too.

Clancee made some pretty stupid mistakes, and Sylvia was barely there. I wouldn't be surprised if Sheridan got put back in the side with Hill out. Not sure who for though. Maybe rest Clarke & let Apeness take on some ruck load. Or Fyfe seems to be enjoying getting a few hitouts

I'm not going to pretend that I know the ins and outs of the Ross Lyon gameplan but I'm guessing that Sylvia is playing de Boer's role right now which means he probably playing in a way that is not conjusive to accumulating stats and is hard for the common spectotre like us to understand but is ultimatly pleasing the coach so based on that speculation I'm gonna say

I'd like to see the Ape given another game, except alongside Pav this time where he won't cop as much attention.

Give Sandi a week off with a late mystery strain and the Ape can give Clarke a 5 minute chop out in the ruck when he needs it.

I agree with this. No better time to test out the ape and Pav in Tandem. The. Clarke can handle the ruck.

I am a little concerned about Hill. Ross says 3 weeks, but calves seem to hang around for ages at this club.

Sandi was certainly mobile last night but I would prefer to rest him against the Saints.

Would be happy for this to happen. Bit hard on Apeness being the lone tall forward. Get Pav to draw the best defender so it's i little easier for Apeman to strut his stuff.
