Other than Thursday night I'm assuming all games in Vic.

Friday
Carl v Gee

2.10. Rich v Coll. MCG
4.40. Bris v St.K. Gee
7.20. Dogs v Syd. Marvel
Sun

Why the * are people putting rating bonanza games in obscure timeslots?

With reduced crowds, TV stations are not going to be like 'yeah chuck Rich and Coll on Saturday arvo or 1.10 Sunday whilst Adel vs Ess takes Friday night or 3.20 Sunday '.

As if Channel 7 wouldn't want to have that game in their timeslots.

Or am I the stupid one?

Thursday 8 July
Port Adelaide v Melbourne (AO) 7.40pm (confirmed)

Friday 9 July
Dons v Crows Marvel (all but confirmed)

Saturday 10 July
GWS v Suns (Mars) 1.45pm (Need the early game and Sydney teams would want to be back asap after hubbing)
Dogs v Swans (Marvel read above) 4.35pm
Lions v Saints (GABBA -Qld right to go) 7.25pm
Cats v Blues (MCG ) 7:25pm

Sunday 11 July
Hawks v Freo (TAS) 1.10pm- Needs early game to get Freo back same day. Hard to tell as it might need last min switch and no other venues in Melb.
Richmond v Collingwood (MCG) 3.20pm
Eagels v NM (Perth (440
OR
Monday 12 July
West Coast v North Melbourne (Optus Stadium) 8.10pm (assume Perth is fine thou might push it back to ease restrictions

Where will GWS play their home game (assuming not in Sydney)?
Already hosted Hawthorn at the MCG and have now played two in a row there, I would've thought they'd prefer the MCG again.

If so it means there's 3 MCG games and one will need to go Friday night - and since Collingwood played Sunday it's unlikely to be Richmond v Collingwood.

Geelong v Carlton Friday night maybe?

I think it’s a certainty that GWS vs us will be at Ballarat, the AFL would not want a MCG crowd of 500 and would rather get maybe 2000-3000 at Mars. Plus it’s better PR to play atleast one of these extra games out at a regional venue I think.

Is it possible the GWS-GC game is played prior to the Carlton-Geelong game i.e. as a genuine double-header, finishing 45mins before the start of the following game?

Five-day breaks are big constraint. Apparently the AFLPA have insisted on each team only being subjected to one per year. Have Collingwood had one already? If so, putting the Richmond-Collingwood game on Friday is a non-starter.
