Not to mention the absolute stupid two goals that North got from rather unusual umpiring decisions. I'm not sure and don't care whether the frees were there or not, but they certainly were freebies for North. The umpires must have been told something this week, as a Melbourne player (Neitz??) also got pinged for an after-goal decision. The first time I have ever seen this things paid in a long, long time.

Despite that, it was a fairly enjoyable match to attend. There was enough shown by Geelong today to show that they do have future. It was good to see Playfair get his first. The last match I attended where you could lay out the picnic rug was at Carrrara, except this time the pies were hot!!
