Safe route would just be GAJ to best available midfielder such as Fyfe or JPK.

More adventurous route would be to go Ablett to Stevie J or another midfielder in that price-bracket, which should give you enough in the bank the following week to go either Georgiou or Hartung to Sam Mitchell. Your defence bench is good as dead.

That could work well (Ward/JPK both will fall in price) as it directly contributes to scoring points on the ground.

But you already have solid cover in the FWDs, and you would lose the MID/FWD link.

Grabbing Mitchell in defence might allow you to loophole Jaensch/Docherty's scores too.

Leaves me with 174K to upgrade Shenton with and probably having to make another trade to bring in Boomer. May settle for Gray

Ideally Michie or Acres gets a game this week and subsequently covers my Goddard 0

I could then trade Ambrose to Honeychurch this week freeing up more $$

Sloane's an interesting one, doesn't have the proven record of a JPK but if you feel like you can trust Sloane go for it. I think you'll fall just short of getting Boomer in, go for Gray instead.

I'm tempted to bring in NRoo for Ambrose as an F7.
