Essendon’s soft tissue problems have reached crisis point after stars Darcy Parish, Mason Redman and Kyle Langford all suffered fresh injury blows at training on Saturday.

The Bombers confirmed Parish (calf), Redman (hamstring) and Langford (quad) all reported concerns after training at Tullamarine during a bye in a huge setback for the club.

Parish and Langford were sent for scans, while Redman will also undergo more assessments on the severity of his hamstring complaint.

Witts
12.8 disposals
4.7 Clearances
50% Hitout win
26.5% Hitout to advantage
1.4 Marks
5.2 Score involvements

Witts also more tackles than all except Xerri

Stacks up pretty well.

Looking forward to a stats boost against first year ruckman for Essendon.

As much as I love Witter those stats show why he doesnt get AA noms-just not enough impact around the ground to be the best in the comp.I really feel with enough AFL time Ned Moyle could approach some good numbers.I know VFL is not AFL but Ned scores goals and gets 20 disposals a match at that level as well as doing the ruck thing. You wonder how the Club is managing transition.Ned can't get stuck in line in the ressies because he will just become a second level player with second level skills.Difficult choices coming up for the Club with 2 of our icons in Dave Swallow and Witter

He's better than most of the ruckman at the stoppage game.
He doesn't impact around the ground as much.

I agree that Moyle seems like he could be a good mixture of both styles.

Is there any chance we rest Witts against Richmond and even Essendon in the final round depending on our ladder position.

I was hoping both Witts and Moyle would alternate, would get continuous blocks of games but it does not look like.

Hopefully, no sub next year and 5 on interchange. If that will be the case, we will probably play both next year at the same time (Dimma).

BTW, in my eyes Witts won on points both encounters with Gawn this year.
