Pardon the intrusion, but you blokes were absolutely robbed. Could notice the one-sided umpiring all through the match, spewing that it cost the Saints the game.

Curren showed a bit though, credit to STKFC for the brilliant fightback.

The first half was utter shit. Absolutely disgusting and pathetic effort from the boys.

But then... Wow. The fight back was bloody amazing. Almost worth going through the frustrating first half just to see the boys run their absolute guts out from 8 goals down to hit the lead (from Sir Curren himself of course). Holy shit.

Imagine what would happen if we actually turned up for more than a half???

Great debut from Curren. Exactly the type of player we need, just wanted the ball more than his opponent on a few occasions.

What if we played riewoldt from Wing to Wing he will out run anyone and put lee , and one other tall forward and have him get it into them long and have the crumbers running past to scoop for a goal. He runs so much that when he gets a shot on goal he's stuffed . Keep him away from goal and set up the others . He has no trouble getting the ball

Port have many high draft picks. We have none.

No question with early draft picks is a huge plus, but you've got to have sound infrastructure to develop young players, & the Cats are an example of this..

They haven't had the luxury of high picks, but their sustained success over the years is credit to their savvy recruiting & development..

The second half we had hunger for the contest & dramatically increased our work-rate, which reflected in a stunning comeback..

Newnes, Saunders, Webster & Curren all contributed to our second half revival..

Most deflating loss of the year for me. Dal just idiotic. Roo should've nailed the shot. That last forward entry that kicked long to Milne vs 2... aaaahh. Jack Steven though, coming of age. Lee and TC's goal were awesome moments, absolute killer we didn't come away with a win after those. A win in those circumstances would've done this young group absolute wonders for a fair while.

I missed the first half and it sounds like it was almost unwatchable. To come back from 49 points down and nearly pinch it is a massive effort for a young side. I think Lee is going to be a terrific player once he has played about 30-50 games. He will be a nightmare to match up on with his agility and good hands. Nice first game from Curren. Hope he can cement a place in the best 22.

Problem is, no else bar McEvoy looks like a genuine threat to take a big pack mark down there. Hickey has the ability but rarely takes one in the goal square like that. Seems to play more as a lead up forward, which is odd

Lee looks capable enough of taking pack marks. He's still very raw. Hopefully will only get better in the next couple years but looks promising at this stage.
