haha sorry George. Are we the same person?
I'll merge them now haha
Nah it's fine mate just funny we were both doing the same thing at the same time.haha sorry George.
Just didn't want to start discussing stuff in the preview for it to be shut.
He hasn't been tagging as much as last year, which make you wonder why he's in the side sometimes.I haven't watched them close enough this year but what do people expect from De Boer? Genuine tagging role?
Could he go to a Steele or Hill? I worry if he shuts down Steele with the huge reliance we have on Jack.
I do kinda question that though when you've got Kelly, Taranto, Whitfield, co if you start De Boer in centre bounce, will they go for that form of defensive.
I mean you can understand if they do though.
Averaging just short of 12 touches a game, he has to be doing some sort of a defensive roleHe hasn't been tagging as much as last year, which make you wonder why he's in the side sometimes.
I'd expect him to tag Steele tonight though.
I've seen Kent in the past used upfield and he does alright- his field kicking is much more damaging compared to Ross. Our small-medium forwards..actually all our forwards are not good in one-on-one marking duels at the moment, which is a massive weakness. What do people think of Kent as our Sometimes mid? Think that’ll be the plan tonight especially if Hanners goes down.
IMV he’s contested enough and physically capable but just not quite effective enough. Well, not really effective at all.

Expecting Giants to go all out, full on " run & gun" tonight. Hope we're prepared for it.
I think everyone has to lift including Ratts - I'd rather go down in a blaze of glory by trying to win the game rather than turn it into some dour struggle attempting to strangle GWS into submission.Guys like Kent are the ones that need to lift in this game. It’s off the back of their collective form that helped us get the early wins.
Steele, Marshall and guys in that caliber will keep doing what they’ve done most of the year.
See I disagree with this. The players that need to lift for this game are below ad if they do, everyone follows suit.Guys like Kent are the ones that need to lift in this game. It’s off the back of their collective form that helped us get the early wins.

Yeah look I’m not saying the bottom tier are the only ones that need to up their game but when they go missing which has happened in the last month then the pressure goes on one group to do all the work.See I disagree with this. Billings: Has been poor the last 6 week's overall. Looks to be playing bruise free footy and most impacting the game at all
Membrey: Has been out of form all year and really needs to step up. Has been our most dissapoiting forward
Ross: Not his biggest fan and this year just proves that. Besides playing maybe 5 decent games all year, has not had an impact on the ball as a vice captain should.
These 3 are in our leadership group and simply haven't turned up when the heat has been on. Can't go blaming players like Kent/Lonie/King when these guys need to be in our top 5 players week in week out. I can't remember the last time they even got close to being in the top 5 players in a game from our end.
All other things being equal,Could all hinge on stopping or slowing them down off half back where they like to launch. Not sure how I feel about tonight.
On one hand I think our game style should suit. I'm hoping we can go back to the fast style we played early in the year. I don't think the Giant defend overly well. I feel like we have been tinkering with things since the Cats game and haven't really been able to get going again.
On the other hand I just feel that it might be out of our hands. If the Giants play their best footy I don't see our midfield keeping up with their more talented and more experienced brigade.
Our mids will all have to be at their best. If Calrk can play a full game like he played last week's 2nd half it will go a long way.
Geary to go to Whitfield or Williams.
Feel similar. Wouldn’t be surprised for anything between a four goal win for us and a comfortable loss. Need a big game from Ryder. If he can get right on top of Mumford it’ll help. Not sure how I feel about tonight.
