Tough blow losing Noah — and Payne too — both key pillars in our backline.

But it opens the door for Kiddy and Doedee to step in, with enough runway to build chemistry leading into finals.

Gardiner looked solid when he came on, a reminder that our defensive depth is in good shape.

Might even give us a different look down back — something opposition teams won’t have time to figure out.

Dizzy looks so much more comfortable in the backline and having not belted himself around this year he's an automatic in because the one thing he's good at is defending. Which is where we'll miss Noah.

Can’t replace Noah but I just feel like Doedee would compliment our backline well.

Kiddy the other choice but with Zorko covering his role it doesn’t make as much sense as Doedee for me.

The hole Noz leaves is huge... just the lock down, no fuss, negator that just works and works and works... I really don't think there's a replacement for him despite the supposed depth the media seem to think we have. His inclusion made the difference last year and his loss may be the same.

This is the weirdest year I can remember watching football... Such a strange range of emotions.

I'm really really curious to see what the next 2 weeks bring because they will be a serious test.
