That was frustrating. They were harder at the footy and always looked more likely to score when they went forward than we did.

CJ and Sicily were both liabilities.

Meek and Ginni tried their guts out.

Our skills and decision making were poor and so was our tackling.

Just had nothing at all in the last. Bizarre really. Just couldn't get more than 2 or 3 clean possesions in a row.

And don’t even start in Finn and the sub situation - good start to lose the game that decision.

Pretty much do everything else well.

Chol will lose his spot to Lewis before the year is out.

Wasted our chances. Dominated huge parts of the game and couldn’t put enough scoreboard pressure on. We weren’t terribly inaccurate but we were when you compare us to the Dockers. They just took their chances.

Disappointing because that could cost us finals.

Failed a major test tonight. I think we will still see finals action but we will just be making up the numbers.

Got calved up far too many times when we turned it over and were punished with accurate kicking.

Utterly disappointed.

Fair play to Freo.... their pressure was immense and they stopped us from getting any flow on. They handled the intensity better than we did and most importantly kicked straight. Lets see if we can rebound v our nemesis Port next week. We are very much in a street fight to make top 8 now.

We lack leadership in big moments.

We don't kick a big enough score when we have momentum - its shown up in our average percentage compared to the other top eight teams. Today against a really accurate opposition it cost us the game

We are two elite mids short of serious contention - need Day back and someone else

The Backline has been unsettled all year - I don't think roles are clearly defined for Barrass, Battle and Sicily and its causing all sorts of problems down back

Selection issues - if Finn Maginnes plays then its as a tagger and he starts the game - using him as a sub is just weird
CJ is best as a sub bringing energy and heat to a contest in fully swing

Back to the drawing board particularly for the coaching staff this week.

Honestly, some seriously bad skills tonight… really hurt.. but to not even show up in the last quarter was really disappointing.

I hope we make a few changes next week.

Hawks aren't up to it this year. That sounds reactive but the reality is we have been a yard short of the top teams all year (with the exception of the dogs game which was a mighty effort and the crows game down in tassie). Would love to know wtf is going on with Sic - if he's still carrying something he shouldn't be playing. If CJ gets a game next week I'll be astonished.

Absolutely awful last quarter. Bullied all over the ground and everyone panicked.

CJ needs to be dropped. Skills are rubbish and his speed only seems to mean he runs into trouble faster.
Secondly, Sicily should be on the chopping block but I understand the reason why he won't be.

What a massive squandered opportunity.

Playing Mackenzie/Hussthwaite, then subbing them at half time because they’re not the level of player we want them to be, is asinine.

Bit of a capitulation at the end. Went in with the lead, fumbled everything and lost the last quarter 4-0.

Can I have everyone who told me that CJ was ahead of Scrimshaw report in please? Two absolutely crucial moments where he was not tough enough. Sicily, Moore just continue to leave a lot to be desired this year.

God we desperately need midfield with some breakaway speed. Just so 1 paced at moment, freo class won through in the end.
Still not sold on Jiath off half back, too many fumbles and falls over.
Watching Sicily closely tonight and he is completely out of position most of the time. Caught between kicker and the where ball is directed too often.
Hurry back Will Day and Josh Weddle.
