Doubt it'll be more than 30k. We have 25k guaranteed plus Port fans making up 5k. We got 47k vs Sydney with about 15k Sydney fans but we were coming off 4 wins and one in Perth, plus Friday night. Port fans showing up will make the difference here. Hopefully a few neutrals turn up as well.
Who knows what Saturday will bring, weather is looking good plus with the Demons' ins & what's at stake (for both clubs) they're every chance of getting a good turn up of at least 30k. Your home game against Freo got just under 28k & we being a lot more of our fans over. Hopefully a cracking contest

Anything less than 51k tonight will shock me

Tonight (and the showdown in 2 weeks) are complete sell outs. The only two for Adelaide home games yet this year.

I'm thinking tonight might give the rd 3 showdown this year a run for its money for highest crowd at an afl match in Adelaide. (53,698)

It would surely have to go close. A huge game. A showdown with two top 4 teams. Games don't get much bigger than that for us (during H&A). Has there ever been a showdown before where both teams are in the Top 4?

Yes, rd 3 this year.
Was advertised as the first time of a 1 v 2 showdown.
I'll have a look to see if there were any others (I'm pretty sure there was around 02/03ish

Fair call.....

I guess though, in terms of that round 3 clash being so early in the season, the ladder doesn't mean a great deal. With both Crows and Port looking solidly in the top 4 now and so late in the season, surely it's set to be one of the biggest showdowns yet.

So we've had 3 before
12, 14 and 42.
If the crows won either of 12 or 14 we would have had a qualifying final showdown in 2002 and/or 2003
