I'd rather have Welsh as a crumbing forward, they do about the same amount of crumbing and at least Welsh kicks goals and takes marks.
I couldn't deny he had a good first half against the Kanga's (as I said, I barely saw it) but there is no way you can convince me it was a great first half or a better than pass game.
He might've only had 2, but what about the pressure he put on the Kangaroo defenders to cause turnovers?? You probably wouldn't give him credit for that bevuase it isn't a stat. Bode has 75 tackles for the year, 10 more than any other crow. Not bad for a forward, if you ask me.
Welsh isn't a crumbing forward. He's a leading forward, will kick more goals from marks than crumbing. If we are going to have Roo, Hentschel, McGregor, Perrie or Welsh up forward we need a small crumbing forward to compliment these guys and Bodey is our best option.
