Torn between Bont or Macrae - leaning towards Bont given how quiet he was last week, and how the Bulldogs have used Macrae recently.

Hoping I don't have to use my C, but if I do it will either be a toss-up between Neale, Gawn, and Touk.

Really liking Gawn with his low ownership and against Port's "rucks".

Of course I took the VC off Bont 5 minutes before the game

Because sometimes he goes to water under the tag

He’s one guy that is affected by the tag greatly and there’s no way after Caldwell smashed him last week that Ash doesn’t tag him this week

Also the lions are way out of form and once again with no Rich/Zorko to take some heat off I think Neale struggles again. Easier to clamp him without other threats

It’s also why I think Port would be mad not to tag Trac with Drew. Its why the demons are so hard to beat, you can’t tag him and Clarry as the other will get off the chain. But with only 1 playing it’s easier to shut them down

Interesting, i'm now considering benching Neale for Danger because of your thoughts.(Just trying to justify Green(bench) for Danger actually,when I don't really need to trade.)

On the contrary mate I’d still back Neale to go 100+. He’ll definitely respond after having his colours lowered last week

I just don’t think he’ll go near the 164 he scored last time vs Gws!

They’ll definitely put time into him and with Hopper back that giants midfield will smash the lions imo

I would happily trade Green
Since Spike has taken over he’s really been one that’s been impacted negatively

Cogs and Himmelberg are thriving but it’s hurt guys like Green and Cumming!
Green vs Danger from here is a decent trade imo if it’s for a loop at m8/9

Hopper coming back for the giants will also give Green less mid time. Compare that to Danger who has had that training block to finish the year off in peak form. I would do the trade mate

Gee, almost any of the options from last night, aside from Dunks, would have been decent choices in the end.
Bont the high risk / high reward, Macca, Libba, Sinclair, Steele all great.

(excluding English, but up against the Ryder-Marshal combo was not a realistic option I wouldn't have thought).

jokes aside, i had the same thing with Pendles mate - brought him in as he was scoring ton after ton, then got 60's and 70s out of him before losing interest and moving him on, only for him to reclaim some form. Just the way things seem to go. Players have purple patches then are given some more attention or tire a little bit etc.

It always seems worse than it is because we tend to remember the poor calls/decisions/indecisions and gloss over the things that went well/worked out.
