Beg to differ on the clearances. We won our fair share but every time the Dogs got on transition they scored a goal.
That isn’t accurate. Dogs scored more from clearances. Much more

I'm sure they did but that includes forward 50 ball ups and everywhere else. They won 10 more clearances but at no point watching it was it clearances from stoppages that was the concern. That isn’t accurate. Dogs scored more from clearances. Much more
As Fages said on 7, the run home is tough but the Collingwood game is the only one I'm worried about.

Beating Freo in Perth will be a tough game for sure.Winning 4 of the next 5 would be a great achievement, hopefully enough to finish top 2
I just hope the players don’t have one eye on that game already. Will be a big test next week down the coast. If we aren’t switched on for that one we won’t give ourselves a chance. As Fages said on 7, the run home is tough but the Collingwood game is the only one I'm worried about.
Our game stands up on the G, maybe better than anywhere. I reckon we will roll them.As Fages said on 7, the run home is tough but the Collingwood game is the only one I'm worried about.

I think Lester is better but can struggle a little more on the bigger guys. Playing Gardiner or Payne frees Lester up a bit more to come off his man more than when he has to play tight. I think he plays better and the team is better suited with Lester as the third rather than second tallFinally, after what we just witnessed, what do you think On the quiet - is Gardiner still a better “lockdown” option than Lester?
I have a vague recollection of mentioning before that Lester is our BACKLINE GENERAL. He directs traffic, hits targets and most importantly, leads by example. He gets another contract next year and it should be a multi year deal.I'll be very surprised if Ryan Lester doesn't end up a very good coach at AFL level. His Footy IQ is out of this world.
Gardiner had a mare, don't know if he should be near the team tbh
Had one bad moment, and a lot of great ones…Gardiner had a mare, don't know if he should be near the team tbh
Lid is officially off!EVEN GREG SWANN IS ON THE LESTER BANDWAGON. JUST NOMINATED HIM AS HIS FAVOURITE PLAYER ON FOX.
I agree. He couldn’t get out of his own way tonight and gave away crucial and costly free kicks. His disposal is ordinary and his decision making is panicked. His kick to Bontempelli in the last was shocking. If Doedee comes into the seniors, he comes in for Gardiner.Gardiner had a mare, don't know if he should be near the team tbh

I hadn’t heard of umpire 20 before tonight and I already hate the bloke. Maybe it’s him.I bet the umpire Mrs Swann doesn't like is the one who mucked up the advantage call late in the 2023 grand final.
