No one is talking about it but our forward line is actually shocking at the moment. Yeah the delivery hasn't been great but no one in there looks like doing anything. Cripps, Owies and Ryan are all cooked. Bailey does one good thing a game. Jack is using the games to catch up on sleep and Shanahan is too green.

100% agree.

I feel like Cripps should call it a day. He either isn’t 100% fit or times caught up with him.

Positives: had a really good day at work

Negatives : watched 2 quarters of the most god awful footy I've seen in a while

Positives:

• Reid. Mini is right, if we had a team of players who played with his heart, we'd be unstoppable.
• Ginbey. Tried hard and can hold his head up.

Negs:

• Skills. (can't hit teammates with handballs. BBW dropping 50 marks)
• Decision making. (any handball is to whatever blue shirt is visible and it's usually a hospital handpass)
• Work rate. (where is everyone when they counter? where is everyone when we're trying to run and play on? in fact, where is the playing on?)
• If it's not giving the opposition ruck a PB game, it's giving someone a run down tackle highlight for the ages.

The team is incredibly young so a lot of the negatives hopefully subside with time, but boy it was difficult to watch.

Super Mega Ultra Emo Negatives:

• Believing, again, that bringing in Kelly would result in some leadership and impact.
• being a side that relies on Reid, a second year player to do it all. So when he's tagged, we immediately get bent over.
• 2025 draft is being called weak and shallow. So our chances of drafting a couple of decent players to plug gaps is low. That leaves us with just 2026 to draft more players before Tassie annihilates all the talent for 2 (3?) years.

• Went with the go slow game plan and didn’t get it right, their two way running made us look putrd
• Not sure how you sell this club to anyone atm. What mids/rucks would want to come here.
• 1 quarter of footy undid all the decent work this year. That was witches hat stuff against the 17th best side.
• Lack of mids, not sure how anyone can argue we have enough.
• Commentator could’ve at least mentioned our outs when comparing the lists.
• without doubt the worst quarter of footy I’ve seen us play and it just didn’t get better at any stage.

Harley Reid so so good, but still got so much potential its ridiculous
Harry Edwards continues to back himself and impact contests, regularly makes the right call between spoiling and marking
Ginbey never gave up, tried to spark things a number of times, runs himself into trouble, i'd like to see him develop some Harley style evasive techniques

Maric, a lazy undisciplined performance, inexcusable and not worth persisting with. Does not defend and butchers it

Cripps one insane mark and a whole heap of rubbish move him on thanks for the memories
Kelly what else did we expect? What did the selection team expect? What now? Another ****ing 2 years of this shit. Went full stat pad mode in the last q and only just cracked 15 disposals in another wasted nothing game from a senior leader
Hutchinson has regressed into a fumble panic merchant why not leave him where he looked good at HF
Clay Hall had some nice moments but constantly caught out on transition and fumbles the first touch
Cole a complete mess, out worked out muscled and out thought by younger hungrier opponents
Duggan just destroys plays with ineffective disposal
Dewar drifts out and just meanders around, no appetite for the contest or the chase
Owies a joke, deadset one of the worst players in the AFL

Yeah they are the wrong sort of small forwards for current day footy. Need work rate and elite foot skills. Not your more front and centre smalls

The only positive I can take from this is that the acid is going to be coming in hot this week. That was as insipid a performance as we’ve had this season, arguably our worst in a shit show of a year.

If that doesn’t get the group ready for a derby to prove something, nothing will.

That’s the kind of game that demands action at the selection table, and needs to be a true line in the sand. Unacceptable.

It's up to the list managers and then Pykey and co to get him the resource needed to turn the club around

Giving Tim Kelly 2 year deals is not Mins decision and refusing to ask for priority picks isn't a Mini decision also . It's the decision of faceless coward's who don't have the courage to make the tough decisions
