Meh Kenny's dead in 5 weeks

Bring on 2026

Said to a bloke next to me Alberton 2015 "this bloke will leave us in ruins"... whodda thunk it.

Thanks for nothing Donuts. Looks like with you, we won the hole in the middle... yay.

Oh n btw where's my vid of the legendary 13 in a row eh.

"That got me an udder cuppla years that did" scoff scoff.

Ps... Is Luko looking a bit pricey... gulp. All class but do we get enough or is it early days

I personally think that there just needed to be a few more hack kicks - there just weren't enough players throwing the ball on the boot with no direction or thought. A few more shitty ****ing useless dumb c**t loser brain hack kicks and they would've had it.

Giving Sinn a big pass is rose coloured glasses. He really has yet to do much at AFL level. A good game here and there doesn’t cut it. Yet to see him string some games together and yet to see what some others see in him.
that flunked kick attempt into 50 in the 1st was enough for me to put a line through him

how many years since we drafted him?

if he was pick 35+ we'd have him on the delist list

I don't understand the criticism of Sinn at all. He has missed to much football and had so many interruptions yet he seems to be getting better and better.

Im critical of his offensive game, his kicking, run, dash and line breaking ability from his juniors has not translated to AFL level. Defensively he has been very good, doesn't get many goals kicked on him and shuts down the dangerous smalls around the league, but this is not the player we drafted, the hope is Carr can unlock his offensive ability, if this happens he will become an absolute gun.

Luko was one of our best, is he just going to cop heat every week by default like Dixon did because of the price we paid for him?

It's bizarre. He had 14 disposals, 4 marks and 2 goals in shocking conditions in a team that was smashed for possessions (-82) and inside 50s (-21). And somehow he's the problem. Gave us more than Mitchy and on a normal day would have kicked at least 4 goals.

He has become the 2020s Darren Smith.

I honestly feel that will be a natural part of his progression when he gets some more continuity.

I feel like we are starting to see glimpses of it already.

We were bullied by much bigger bodies. Our kick and hope was ridiculously dumb. Young Burgers tries very hard, but someone take him aside in the summer and lock him in a gym.
Imo Burgers pretends to try. He doesnt want to chase, he only wants to receive. He should have been locked in the gym 2 years ago at least.

He doesn’t need a gym he needs a shrink.
His game in the final against Hawthorn last year was incredible, hard to fathom how far he has fallen.
He was brilliant that game & the talent is there. This is standard for our club under Hinkley. Also how far has Jones fallen from his debut year. He fumbles all the time, why dont players improve their weaknesses through targetted training?

I was thinking it'd be nice if someone - anyone - in the club called out the bias in the umpiring, especially when we look like getting any momentum. I think 4 of the first 5 opposition goals were from gifted free kicks.

Then I realised that as Koch, Davies and Hinkley are ALL angling for bigger roles within the AFL, the chances of any of them sticking up for their Club is zero. We're just cannon fodder at this stage.
100% & this needs to be called out at the next AGM. They all have other priorities & therefore conflicts of interest & its killing our club.
In terms of Hinkley its never been about the club, its been about developing relationships with his players to ensure his survival. He doesnt give a damn about PA, its way smaller than that for him.

I don’t think he’s been as good the past three weeks. Does some nice defensive actions but is still getting caught out of position and not yet impacting offensively. Not our worst by a long way but does need to improve.

13 hours and a flat tire later, I’ve arrived in Florianopolis.

I’ve just checked the score. Apparently, they played 4 quarters; whilst we played 2.5 quarters. It’s not enough.

He’s been good in two of his three matches since coming back. That sort of return yesterday is definitely a pass and on a day where many others couldn’t handle the opposition or conditions, he was in our best handful. Competed pretty solidly too.

Oh and the plane thing by Jack Ginnivan, yeah you got Hinkley back but we still knocked you out of finals last year.

Bit like winning the ANZAC Day game after you lost the grand final the year before. Nice to win, not actually revenge.

Understand you had a flat tyre but 13 hours to drive less than 500km? Is the road that shit?

It was 1,100km (680 miles). I live in Uruguayana; not, in Porto Alegre.

Yes and why shouldnt he? We arent a charity.
