Swans are the worst “aerial” team in the comp. Bringing in Smith will only compound this advantage for Lions. I just hope it doesn’t **** up our ability to spread with the Swans. We will need to win contested ball and win the territory battle. I’d imagine we will try to control the ball and expose the Swans lack of height and aerial ability. Lions by 36.

Just watching the West Coast game again. I thought Brain was ok. He really looks like a capable and intelligent footballer. Quite comfortable on the field.

McKenna might struggle to get back in if we have a win.

Credit to Fagan for bringing Morris, Brain, Reville and now Smith into the team. Making Lohmann a regular fixture is a winning move too. We’ve unearthed some real talent this year. Add Wilmot, Ashcroft and Fletcher into the mix and our younger brigade is looking great. The combination of youth and experience is compelling.
