McGlynn will probably run with Dal Santo.

I'd normally have him on a Goddard type player but Goddard would eat Mighty Mouse alive and leave his head spinning so fast he'd think he was out with Cousins.

I'd agree with this assessment. Good chance Sewell will go to Goddard, Hayes and Mitchell to go head to head and maybe a Bateman to Montagna. Alot could depend on what Hodge does.

Edit: My choice is for Reiwoldt to continue the growing trend of power forwards eating the Hawks defence for breakfast and he'll be my captain :(

I only don't choose Swan and Gablett because Montagna can outscore them :D

Have gone with Bartel in the past and could have been another good option last week.

I think there are plenty of gun teams in the top 10k this year and I could use any advantage I can get.

That's fair enough.

Avoiding players because they are mainstream is a very strange tactic, but I see where you're coming from.

Surely clinton jones will shut down mitchell?

Seems like a likely match up doesn't it. Jones usually goes to those type of players. I would say theres a 60% chance he would run with Mitchell and a 40% chance he would run with Hodge, like most teams have in recent weeks.

Surely clinton jones will shut down mitchell?

Like I said, it depends on what Hodge does, if he plays midfield again teams seem more enthusiastic about tagging him than Mitch, since a greater percentage of his possessions are very damaging and usually very offensive

Swan & Bartel are my main go to guys but with the expected crappy conditions this week I'm giving a lot of thought to making H-Mac my skipper. Against Melbourne & at the Dome are 2 big ticks for mine. Anyone else thinking about this?

Stevie J. Will push further up the ground with no Chapman and tore the Blues apart last year. Also despite last week being his first game in a month he still ran 14ks, which means he is still fit. The Blues also do not have a backman that can run with him as well as contest with him in the forward line.

Wasn't aware of the crappy conditions, but that automatically means Bartel walks into captain for mine... Proven best wet weather DT'er and coming off a 120 score. I'd put a lot of money on him outscoring H-Mac :thumbsu:

Any value for Brent Harvey to be captain??

It's him or Ablett anyway, logic says Ablett, but I just can't help but think that with Melbourne "experimenting" they might let him do his own thing...

most likely gana be bringing in pavlich later this afternoon for chapman and might give him the captaincy straight up. has two big score the last 2 weeks and against the power at home could have a big one 120+:thumbsu:
