With my team being healthy bar Fyfe it looks like my toughest choices will come down to VC/C and if I try some loophole magic with the Friday night games.

As of right now I'm thinking I just line up like this.

What about the impact on draft selections for these teams?

And how does this affect SC and DT? Less stoppages so do we see contested numbers drop, hit out to advantage drops, clearances etc. Do the seagulls like Simpson benefit from this with more open ground to work with. DT numbers up and SC numbers down?

Carlton will trial in 3 of these matches so any affect to Cripps/Simpson owners.

I thought that's why we had a pre-season so we could **** the game as much as we could then.

It's breathtaking how arrogant Gil and his cronies are.

If they go through with this it undermines the integrity of the entire competition.

It has the potential to compromise the draft, Brownlow medal, Coleman medal, rising star award, etc.

As much as I don't like the idea of trialling during this season as it might disadvantage my SC team, it will give SC's some idea of the type of players to consider for next year. Outside mids like Issac Smith & Whitfield could become SC relevant, KP forwards might benefit, inside mids might not etc...I know they could do it during JLT, but I'd like to see it in proper games with best 22's involved to get a better feel for how it will effect SC scoring.

LOL Pies are up and about for the first time in Buckley's underwhelming tenure and he's a gun coach now? For the record, yes, I rate all the coaches of the bottom 6 teams ahead of him. Even Bolton, had a 5-0 record when he coached a gun team. Lyon, Bevo, Fagan, Dew can all coach, given the right mix of players.
