Welcome back Bollox.

Told ya lol.

I'm all in kents! Chips to the middle of the table.

Briggs to Gawn and MJ to Reddy Eddy. Last two trades.

Leaves me with Chayce at M9, but he can cover Our Lord and Saviour, Doch and Day in the backs should any of them miss for any reason, Seamus at D7 to cover Rids, Yeo and Red Ed, Humpa at M10/F8 and DC at F7/R2.

Going for inside run and riding for luck. I'm due some FFS
Cheers.
Yeah Yeah ok
I COULD say "good call" but hey, i'm starting to think its still way too early to say Stumpy was a good pick up :p:p Its only Rnd 19.
2nd year players SUCK....(in general)

I'm bumping along about 10k, teams s**t and only one trade left so a bit stuck. Might move up a little as others fall away and start copping donuts late, but a wasted season. Terrible starting team so burnt trades fixing it, lots of injuries early (not the only one there, but my problems are more important to me than other peoples problems) didn't help, so I just got stuck between 5-12k all season.

I was a non believer on little stumpy legs Daicos, but he is a Supreme Gull and points is points. Ashcroft and Sheezel continuing the trend of high priced rookies being keepers.

Hang around and chat, there's only about 10 kents left at this point of the season. Burst of energy would be welcome.

And it's still only July, still time for another shelter. Sounds like the state of Victoria is a bit broke, maybe open one there :moustache:
Coool. Doesnt sound good though. 1 trade left ? Lots of injuries by the sounds. Werent there like 35-40 trades this season ?
I'll pop in but with no skin in he game this year i might keep the powder dry for next year. Need to watch a few games....my swannies sucked balls all season. Have kept an eye on things but not watched a game for awhile.

News laird didn’t train today
And Cripps may be managed.

The year has just gone to s**t real quick.

After last weeks carnage didn’t think it could get worse,

Looking at Sean Darcy, laird and Cripps all out before teams even announced.

1 trade left, Darcy to Gawn seems the obvious one, he genuinely may not play for 4-5 weeks I reckon.

Maric can cover one of my mids but I’ll be getting at least 1 donut at the minimum if they all miss.

Do you still need an upgrade?

If not, yeah probably. Unless you have someone else out for longer. No timeframe on Laird yet though.
I don’t need to upgrade necessarily, however I have Day, Laird, Sheezel, Rowell, Briggs.

Ranking has gone to s**t this season and I’m hovering around 12k so focussing on my main league where I’m sitting second.

I also held Green.

We'll Green is at least 2 more.

Could just hold the trades for your league finals if they are important to you.

Similar to many of you, suffering through the carenage that has risen these last few weeks! Will be without Laird, Darcy, Green and Wardlaw (who would be cover this week) Can cover Laird with Windy but if Cripps is managed I'll be copping a donut.

Which brings me to using my final trade, Darcy has to go given he's going to miss at least 2. I'm just inside the 8 in one of my leagues and just outside in the other, so I need to maximise my chances of winning my last 2.

So Darcy to who? I have it as Witts v Gawn v Marshall. Traded Marshall to Gawn earlier this year only for Gawn to just miss out on DPP. Got Briggs in and decided he was the keeper out of he and Max given the Dees were playing both he and Grundy.

So here we are again full circle, my ego says take Witts and don't trade one of the other 2 back in😂. All jokes aside I do worry about Grundy coming back in at some stage and hurting Gawn's score.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

If Cripps and Cerra are out then Hewett may provide a premium score and is cheaper then Eddie Ford.
The big question though is whether he stays in the 22 for the rest of the season when they are back.

If Grundy comes back he is going to be playing more forward, so I would back in Gawn from here. The two ruck experiment has clearly failed.

Speaking as someone who not only started Paddy Wow in 2021, but also roughied him back in late in the season, I think Scoops might be looking too far within in this case.

The "Wow" is short for "Wow - how s**t is Paddy" or "Wow - what a spud" or "Wow - 5 points to half time".

It's not cowardly to avoid Paddy Wow, it's looking after one's mental health. Self-care (but not Obese Arachnid style) if you will.

Peace.
Scoops might have overstepped the mark.
Scoops needs to realize that not all coaches are prepared to embrace consensus all-universe ruck forward swingers with a lustrous :moustache: like Ivan Soldo and are fine making do with lesser lights like Maxy and Timmeh.
Nothing wrong with honest toil, Scoops needs to show more humility (looking at his rank tends to keep Scoops pretty ******* grounded, truth be told 🌈☃️)

Don't forget that Bam Bam Kennedy went out last week, mid-termer.
Hewett took on a fair bit of that load last week already, mate.
Reckon he's absolute value if you're shopping on a budget cash and/or dollar-wise. Best value going this week
Just my two cents tho.

4 midfield premos on the pine.

Oliver, Laird, Cripps and Green. Forcing a donut if no trades.

What happens when the player I trade in gets injured next week, or another midfielder goes down? Then I am back to square one. What's the point in giving up my final trade?

Most likely to face this same scenario in SC finals. Wouldn't I rather use it then?

Worrying about the kenties team of tomorrow is hindering todays decision.

Donut looking likely.

Trade out Oliver you stubborn kent :moustache:

With my last trade, I honestly don’t think Darcy will come back for at least 3. Already ruled out for 2 and the wording of “specialist” and “hoping to play before end of season” insinuates more weeks to me.

Would you straight swap to Gawn or I can play Cameron at R2 and bring in Libba via DPP
Who would you all take out of those 2?

Without Grundy gawn should go 140 but Grundy could easily be back next or week after and then he’s giving us 90’s
Where Libba has been a 120 average all year
Please help haha

Please help haha
I wouldn't want to waste my ruck cover this early. Gawn is a risk which pays heavily. Current form it's hard to turn down. Grundy could come back as a FF. Oliver could come back next week haha. Who knows.

Libba would be a great addition. However using your last trade to lose your ruck coverage is tough.
