From premier to a rabble. This is just shocking and the coach and the club leaders have let complacency set in, and these are the results.
Simpson and Beveridge went from premiership coaches, to leading their side in the wilderness for a few seasons after that, Simpson never recovered obviously, but Bevo had the axe over his head a few times before they got back into a Grand Final. I feel Fly could be heading in the same direction....

They were leaving for more money elsewhere. To keep them at the club they had to move their roles around. We were never going to keep them as assistants in the same roles.
Would have done better to offer them a significantly higher salary in the same role!!

The Pies are hard to watch but lets face it, players over the age of 30 rarely get better. We had 11 in our premiership team. And we keep screwing up our first round draft picks, or give them away for peanuts.

Chin up, we'll always have 2023. We had a small window of opportunity when our older players were still good, and I'm so glad we took it.

I think we'll be in for some pain over the next few years.

130 more disposals, 25 more inside 50s, 30 more contested possessions.
WTF has happened to this team?
Buckley era putrid.

Haven’t learnt a thing over the past month of how sides are playing against us. Not sure if it's just too hard, players CBF'd or just crap coaching

So weird to see your mob drop this far like this. Pretty bizarre. Personally it makes it more likely that this season is some kind of weird anomaly. Your list is better than this.

No it's not, we've been cruelled by injury but we're also too thin in the big man department and the young kids we've had coming in at other positions just haven't taken the next step the way we needed them to.

Pretty much all of our older regular top 10 B&F players have also fallen right off the cliff - Crisp, Pendles, Sidebottom, Maynard, Moore, DeGoey, Josh Daicos and Quaynor are probably the most notable, so with Mitchell and Mihocek also missing significant portions of the season that's 9 our our top 10 players from last year that have been significantly underperforming.

The high pressure small-ball game we've been playing with bit part players just isn't sustainable across a full season unless you have a lot of luck with the injury imp and get to rest some players, at some point you need some talls to stand up and make things a bit easier down back and up forward.

It feels a lot like the Cats last season.
Started poorly, injuries set in, and could never find form and get the year going.
