Some of these 'holding the ball' decisions are very dubious. Apparently you can take a guy high in the tackle.
Holding the head seems to be the interpretation today

Lol. Stewart taken high and in the back and it's called holding the football.

All day they;'ve done that.

I also note they are red hot on calling play-on for short kicks in the backline, but not in the forward line. Just like in the seniors.

Regardless of all of this, Box Hill kids showing plenty of spirit.

Willo getting away with a lot of holding the man and throwing guys into the ground off the ball, not to mention the different interpretations of holding the ball.
Lovell going for 5

Lovell finishes with 5 goals and 20+ possessions. Burton kicks his first goal for BH while everyone else can't hit the side of the barn.
Miller-Lewis looked good off the back half.
Hardwick was excellent, can see why the club has been keen to get him into the seniors.
Willsmore was everywhere, his work rate is impressive. Needs to improve in one on ones but otherwise he is a very real chance of debuting in there coming weeks.
Stewart showed a lot, Pittonet is a few big grabs away from really taking the next step in his game, O'Rourke stood up when needed and Brand was solid all day
