need big games tonight. Ely Smith should be in the side. Maybe saving him for Thursday night against Pies.

Coleman stiff - kicked a nice goal last week and set another up but perhaps he wasn't good enough defensively - he was no Robinson Crusoe in that department. Always hard to beat Cats especially at that hole of a ground. But a few out maybe gives us a sniff. They were far too good for us last year twice.

Think we will have a fair idea after tonight on just how we are going to go this year.

I feel the new rules in particular hurt a slower team like ours more than others, so it will be interesting to see if we keep playing the same way or whether we have to change things up.

I watched the Cats game against the Bombers in the pre season hit out and their game against Crows last week. They can be exposed through the middle by quick ball movement - they don't have the leg speed but they have smart players and are great once the ball is in contested situation.

Last year they beat us up twice by killing us in the contest and playing keepings off. I hope we have learnt something from these two matches? Quick ball movement tonight and give Daniher a chance one out not with two Cats defending floating across and spoiling.
