Thats the thing that conned people about Carlton in round 1. We do just enough to win by 4 or 5 goals, bank the 4 points then move on

That's what 2018 taught me. You don't need to be at your best in the first half of the year. I'm sure we'll drop a few winnable games but as long as we do enough to get the points more often than not, and then worry about form in August.
