Ginbey stiff to miss not because he actually had the best game offensively (still needs to do the easy stuff better but that's an awesome complaint to have in game 2).

Think he just balances us so so much more in there, allows Kelly and Sheed off the chain when he's crashing around in there.

5. Jones, wow he was a rebounding machine today. What a game.
4. TK, loved his game throughout but especially late when we looked tired. He kept running and a cool head.
3. Ryan, another who I loved his game but especially late. Kept gut running and being an option with some great marks.
2. Waterman, took his chance today and was superb at full forward. Was even effective in the ruck.
1. Hunt, I'll put my hand up and say I wasn't thrilled with his arrival. But he's been excellent, always provides a contest and his rebounding is very good. 2 class goals.

5. Jones. Even with the turnover kicks. Just kept on driving us forward.and taking on the game.
4. Hunt. Super effort and provided vital link work we have been missing
3. Ryan. 2 solid shifts this season with room to improve further. Easily our most electric player
2. Snake. Possibly the first time he has grasped his chance with both hands and provided in all the roles he was asked to fill.
1. TK. Instrumental in the first quarter to keep us on a level pegging and forcing GWS to think defensively.

Lots of HM's available. The best effort the group has turned in for a long time. Long and Ginbey have just slotted in and deserve special mention.

5. Kelly- looked a class above. moved beautifully, found space, used the ball sublimely and really drove the whole team forward

4. Jones- worked hard, applied pressure and ran all day. some incredible sidesteps and movement through traffic making opposition players look like chumps. few turnovers and occasionally worked himself into trouble, but really couldn't be more chuffed with him

3. Cripps- ran himself into the ground, always there to impact the disposal and created countless turnovers. well rewarded up forward and make some half-chances count.

2. Waterman- feels rude to place him this low, but great game for the young man. won plenty of the ball, kicked a bag, and found the right place to be time after time.

1. Ryan- outrageously good kicking really opened up the corridor for us a number of times. ran hard both ways and applied immense pressure

HM: SPS, Sheed, Ginbey, Hunt, Long, Shuey

5: Kelly - set the tone from the opening bounce and was clean around the stoppages. Consistent for the full four quarters
4: Jones - so close to BOG but a handful of errant kicks cost him. Gave us the sort of run and carry off HB we’ve been craving
3: Ryan - perfect small forward game. Provided pressure and had a hand in numerous goals
2: Waterman - got a proper run at being a lead from the goal square forward and capitalised. Could have had 6 and was handy around the ground when rucking
1: Cripps - as for Ryan his pressure was fantastic. Didn’t set up as many scores but largely made the most of the chances that came his way
