Maybe, just maybe, the coaching/selection panel is going to give the current lineup a couple games to settle in before making any knee jerk reactions.
From all reports BWilliams and Flynn were basically inseperable in pre season, so Flynn stinking it up made an easy call.
People screaming for Kelly/Duggan/cole etc to be dropped after one game are bonkers, not going to happen. If the performances continue for a couple weeks, sure. But McQaulter will want to back in his best team and see how they respond 1st.

His highlights looked good and nothing like he's shown at all at WCE.

Kelly put a bit of a target on his back with his comments before the Freo vs Indigenous All Stars game. Fans don't want to hear about "loving the game" from a flaky high priced recruit. He's not a Patrick Cripps who carried awful Carlton sides for 180 games before he played his first final.
Kelly has been OK for most of his WC career but didn't have a great 2024 and was poor in Round 1. Duggan tries hard but I don't know why we are trying to turn him into a centre square player a decade into his career. If we keep turning in efforts like the Gold Coast game then something will have to give with some of Simmo's untouchables.
So, flynn’s got the arse.
