Didn’t know that Ben Brown was involved with the women’s club but it makes sense with the North connections. That is great for the club though. I listened to him on sacked podcast. It was good to hear that the Afll women and men have genuine respect for each other and they try to help each other.

Is this for the tackle that got her a HTB free in front of our goal? And the opponent played out the game, no HIA?
The one and only.

More outstanding work from our esteemed tribunal.

The player was checked on immediately after - she took a bit to get up.
I must admit I did wonder if it was going to be looked at.
To me (in the stands) it looked like Bonnie had both arms but not any of the body and the players momentum drove her into the ground while Bonnie had hold of her arms behind her stopping her from protecting herself.
I have no idea where this sits within the rules/guidelines

Come in peace etc etc

Absolutely outrageous if that gets two matches, especially since factoring in season length that's like 4 matches in the men's.

Don't think it should be any weeks but if they're insistent on suspending based on a players head happening to touch the ground, then one week absolute max surely. 2 matches is a massive chunk of the season considering, should be reserved for anything actually intentional like striking or a really stupid bump.

Also Gaylor is a weapon, will admit I haven't noticed her before but will keep a close eye - ran super well with Roberts and was super tough on the inside, best midfielder out there IMO. 10 coaches votes well deserved.

The AFL has been going harder in the Women's game to stamp out the sling action as it has been more prevalent in the AFLW. Clubs have been told the last two seasons to make sure they are modifying the way they tackle. In this case the outcome was not bad but the AFL just want the action out of the game.

But there was no sling action, in fact if there had been a bit of sling her head wouldn't have hit the ground

Did not matter. Hits the ground with both arms pinned.

I know we got out of jail last week against WC, but I thought the skills were mostly pretty poor. Not sure if that was just because Windy Hill, but I shook my head a lot.
Midfield battle kept the congestion high which makes skills harder to execute, also windy as the name suggests

You could see from the stands the ball taking a big curve though the air down the other end
Especially noticeable in the 5 minutes in the 3rd where we locked it in but hit the post twice and one or two more behinds before getting the goal
