Round 2 captain

I don't have ABC, Cox, Pav or Swan in my team (yes my team sux & I've already scored a 0).

I picked Dalziell as capt last week and he scored a nice 112.

At this stage am considering (in order) Goddard, Kornes, Dalziell & Chad.

Chapman injured his hamstring in that game a few minutes after Q1. Still scored over 70 from memory! He's in red hot form at the moment, so that's my choice.

Ah! I remember that game now. Im pretty sure it was about 10 minutes from half time that he went off. Incredible...

Freo's playing the Bombers? Skipworth is tempting then as he outscored Gazza... but Ablett was my captain last week, and against Richmond should be the goods.

I expect bigger games from Fev and Franklin - sadly :o - this week. Hopefully Skipworth and Robinson won't let off.

I am going with Cox as Brogan is suspended and I don't think Lade is fit enough to go with him around the ground. Cox should be up for a nice 100 I reckon.

Good point Kahuna. Had Cox as C last week and wasn't disappointed.
Might just leave it there.
Looking at Selwood as well. Even though he was knocked out last week and groggy for a good while, he still racked it up.

Did it really though? Cox averages much less when Seaby is in the team. Seaby played, Cox didn't get a massive score.

i did not know this...do u actually have the stats...i would like to see how much of a difference it is

Easy decision for me this week. Lock it in Eddie.

I like to pick who no one else picks with in reason.

Joel Selwood (scored 89 last week and something like 5 frees against) he also played the game with a concussion apparently, there for he's a tough nut and wont spend the game on the sideline with a little injury.

or

T#$%&n Lockyer (however it's spelt) I think he could get a score that'd give everyone a hard on.

ablett gets the auto (c) for me, and im sure many others. wont always pull a huge number, but is the most likely i think. is a pretty safe bet. could have a huge score v the tigers this week

One thing that might come into consideration when chosing ABC as captain this week is found in this link

Here is a bit of what was said

Thompson said the most interesting aspect of Saturday’s match could be the impact of the club’s stadium redevelopment on playing conditions.

Following the demolition of the Ross Drew Stand, the Barwon River end of the ground is exposed to the elements in the forward pocket.
Few goals were kicked from there in the club’s intra-club match last month and Thompson said it had been a problem all summer.

"There’s a big hole in the stadium and it’s been really unpredictable and hard to even train for us at times," he said.

"I think they are expecting rain and wind, so it might be a really ugly game."

Problem with Ablett is the cotton wool. The cats could really have the game won and finished at 1/4 time, which means ablett will be showered and home by 3/4 time ready to watch the replay.

Helloooooooooo Jimmy.

Don't have him, but if the forecast for Saturday doesn't improve by Friday I'll seriously be considering Selwood. Won't be long before he starts producing 130s and 140s, just need to get on at the right time.

Although if Seaby gets dropped Cox will be in contention as well.

Who thumb man? Yeh he goes alright.

Thumb man? You mean his guy? :thumbsu::p

Actually it's more likely that he'll rack up a quick hundred by the first break, shower, head home, get his end away an enjoy a nice cup of soup while watching the last half live.

That's why he's my captain.
