Currie is my only certain non-starter too so I'll be doing the same. Of course if one of my two main ruckmen is a late withdrawal it will be costly.

So let me get this straight with the captains loophole.

If I say put Ablett vc and Docherty on the ground (not playing) as captain and have Heath as an emergency then if I don't like Abletts score I can take the C off Docherty before the Lions have played and put it on Swan.

Correct?

Why does it matter if all players are selected to play? If Ablett stars as VC, can't you slap the C on a non emergency player and keep Abletts score?

Only problem that may arise is that the Brisbane game is basically straight after the GC game so you don't want that to be locked out before you can change it. Might have to be one of those things were if Ablett is having a shocker (or injured) you will have to do it around 3 quarter time. Cue another 91 point last quarter

Well maybe I'll do it at the 20 minute mark of the last quarter if Abletts having a quiet one to take the C off Docherty and put it on Swan.

This is the first week that I am actually going to try it so I'll see what happens.

Ablett's gonna smash it though, I just know it.

Then you flip it. You take Ablett and your next best mid. If Ablett plays first then you make him VC. If he plays second you make him C.

If you have a non-Ablett VC play first and they get to 140ish you keep it. If you have Ablett play first and he goes 130+ you keep that. Anything under on those scenarios you apply the loophole. There you go, that's it in a nutshell.

If you have a non player in your 30 that is!

Would hate to take a gamble on majak daw not playing & have him come in on extended bench/emergency. Then change your captain to a Sunday player or burn a trade to someone not playing!

So basically I can put Tom Lee on the field as captain (not playing), have an emergency forward who is (Neade), have Ablett as VC and if I don't like Ablett's score, change my captain to say Pendles.
