Pretty scathing review of Amiss on the Purple Reign Podcast. I was hearing a lot of their sentiments though.

They reckon he's better off at Peel at the moment. Say they can't blame the boys for not hitting him up when he drops most of the marks they kick towards him, he seems more focused on marking where he's kicking from than focusing on taking the mark it self.

We have Walker this time.

Pickett plays mostly as a midfielder now. On the weekend he was their #2 CBA player after Gawn. I'm not sure if Walker will be on him much. Maybe some handovers when Pickett pushes forward, but that could be hard to execute.

I think we should consider a hard tag on him using a few players rotating through the role.

Id run Walker on him as a hard tag.

I'm willing to sacrifice Walkers game to shut down Kozzie.

Cox and JOM tests for round 3.

My changes:
Hugh Davies > Oscar MacDonald
Tobyn Murray > Nathan O’Driscoll

Potentially Mason Cox > Darcy but he will likely hold his place and be better for the run. Like to see him running well at training.

That's a bit of a cop out from Hamish (though I get looking after your bro). For one, everyone bar Serong needs a 2nd position for midfield rotations to work, for two, I'm less concerned with output then seeing him look slow, fumbly and making poor decisions. That has nothing to do with where he's playing
Brayshaw had an off game. He attended a large number of centre bounce clearances and was essentially ineffective.

There were uncustomary fumbles and got caught HTB. He had a decent patch in the 3rd where he put his head over the ball and repeated efforts culminating in a shot at goal which he nailed.

There was a moment in the last quarter which summed up most of his afternoon. He had the ball passed to on him on the bounce with his kick to go i50. He fumbled, then got caught HTB and then due to a brain fart stuffed up on the mark and gave away a 50. Soon after the 50 a goal was kicked. So with a clean take he would have delivered i50 but instead the ball went the other end for a goal.

If Darcy isn't fully fit surely we need have Mason Cox?

Maybe switch tags depending on where Kozzie plays? I reckon Wags could hold him down in the mid, then when Kozzie moves forwards, have Walker on him?

Brayshaw as a midfield tag? Walker gets the handover?
Brayshaw hasn't got the speed to go with him.

I'm sure in the past we chucked Walker on him as a hard tag and it was effective. Kozzie is in great form and Walker has his work cut out.

Wagner may get used but again does he have the speed to go with Kozzie?

Drop NOD for Tobyn Murray
Drop Darcy for MCox
Drop Omac for Draper / Davies

Chapman very, very lucky Cooper Simpson isn’t fully fit

Fair dinkum I'm not sure that anyone that doesn't have McDonald as an out actually watched the game today.

Chapman really should be so much better than he is. It's almost time to consider whether AFL or WAFL is the best place for him to find form. Tbh he's never been a third tall defender so he's being played in a role that at times doesn't suit him
I havent even watched the recording yet and I would have him dropped. Never seen a defender hold as much as him. Panic merchant.

We’ll win, I’m not doing another year where we finish strongly only to miss top 4 due to falling over ourselves in the front half of the season.
The ladder was very tight last season.

Had we lost to the Dogs in that final round, that means 9th with 15 wins and ,8 losses

The solution is to think outside the square and play him on Amiss this weekend. Either Amiss will finally get some frees or McDonald will be allowed to do whatever he wants by the umps. Win/win.

Brayshaw too slow to tag kozzie imv.

Only real option in the midfield group is Wagner. Which I suspect we do given we played him in tagging roles last year

Max Gawn is going to rip us a new one if Darcy is the key ruck this weekend

These changes I agree with.

As for Peel game on weekend finally have list of some good players, albeit only 3:

Jeremy Sharp and Chris Scerri listed in the bests. Tobyn Murray, Cooper Simpson and Jaren Carr each kicking a goal.

Trengeza looks more of a forward than Amiss. It’s startling
