4 hundreds and 99 from Rance and Butler making $$ good start to the round will fall apart by Friday

Not SC-relevant, but thought whipping boy Ben Lennon did OK for the Tigers. Provided a contest, worked a bit defensively, a goal and score involvements.
Broomhead had some good moments for us, hope he gets a sustained run at it. Not sure why Aish copped stick, he was alright without being a revelation.

Well done to the Tigers. Seems Buckley might be the first coach on sackwatch in the media this year :( Kenny and Dimma look safe for a while.

Congratulations to the early adopters of this super-stallion:

5/497 for me. Middle of the road, but nothing wrong with that.

Errr kroos was pretty good last week plus spencer = have fun
Think someone mentioned a while back that Kreuzer is Big Maxxxy's kryptonite, too. Could be wrong, though.

KOTD

Goldy 16p 32 HOs 3 goals for 105.
This type of CD discrepancy in scoring ******* irks me. It's bullshit.
IIRC do ruckmen lose points for sharked hitouts? You really need to look at HTA and HTD to get a good understanding of how a ruckman scores after the changes to scoring have occurred.

Do they start each game keeping 20-30 pts in reserve for Rance and Pendlebury ? Seems a consistent theme irrespective of performance.
Watched both make stuff ups, shit decisions and a heap of clangers...but it seems both the commentators and CD like to award them bonus points for these.

Rance had a nothing game. Could argue he was pretty damn average, gave away 3 free kicks, and had more than his share of getting beaten and making stuff ups....BONUS PTS.
Tyson Goldsack restricted/beat a far better opponent, got a similar amount of ball, had a better all round game, more contested ball wins and was consistently excellent....where are his pts ? Didnt go to their best midfielder thats 4 sure.

Think there are 60-odd scoring acts (don't think there's a published complete list). Hitout -wise, think this applies:
"From a SuperCoach perspective winning the hitout on its own doesn’t have a positive bearing to a players score, with all hitouts awarded zero points.

If the hitout reaches an intended target, then the hitout is deemed to be to the advantage of a team mate and these are worth five points. If the hitout is sharked and results in an opponent’s possession, then that player is deducted one point."

Edit: Fwiw, think Kadog is across HTA, sharked HO etc., provided some really good insights on several rucks during preseason planning along these lines.

108 still seems a bit low for Treloar's game imo.

But, it is time to figure out how to get WHE into my fwd line.

3/262 Howe, Treloar, Butler - not too bad, not too great either.

Looks like Champion Data are screwing with Treloar.

I only watched bits and pieces. But I saw him intercept mark 3 times within 10 minute span in the 3rd quarter? He may well have had a few negatives but had a few good scoring plays

Well he's certainly not screwing them.

There's actually a massive line up behind Rance and Nankervis after Rance taught him the ancient art of KOTD.

Don't you dare bring actual knowledge of the scoring system into rants against Champion Data and how it's all one big weiner kissing conspiracy.

Been enjoying the banter lads (sometime I prefer to watch...) and all the helpful commentary!

4/419. Solid start with Nank/Treloar/Butler/WHE.

Ranked 863 after round 1 (which is my highest position at any stage of SC ever) with some fortunate mid price selections in Nank, Steele and Sandi.

What goes up must come down right?

Big Calls of the Year:

Richmond will finish 9th.
Sydney will play WCE in the grand final. No glass barbies will be used.
Port Adelaide will finish higher than Adelaide

Yay for scaling after lasts nights game!

Nank- 124 (WHAT A MAN!)
Pendles- 120
Adams- 111

3/355.

Good start! and massive game for me tonight, Bont, Dahl, Macrae and Lloyd! Hopefully 400+

Champion data value the contested possession. It's like N Riewoldt's lack of contested marks, they're not contested because he burnt off his opponent with gut running 20 metres ago and his opponent can't keep up.
