Call me optimistic but I'm hoping to see a more fiesty Suns outfit. Challenged the Giants last year and it's a much stronger Suns team and a slightly weaker Giants one on paper compared to the last outing.

Will be an arm wrestle but I think the feeling around Essendon will propel them to overcome almost any obstacle for the short term. Brisbane to battle mightily.

West Coast Vs St Kilda 15 pts
St Kilda will improve on last week but West Coast will be too good.

Here's the truth, West coast are favorites coming into this match, however anything can happen in round 2 like Port Adelaide upsetting the swans in round 1 AT THE SCG

The last time Hawthorn went in as the underdogs at the MCG, they thumped Sydney in the 2014 Grand Final by 63 points.

Whilst the Crows are deserving favourites for this weeks game given they just hammered Western Sydney at home without their captain but this game is 50/50.

Gunston, Rioli, Breust and Burgoyne won't play two bad games in a row.

Hawthorn small forwards could trouble the Crows defense.

2014 Hawthorn does not equal 2017 Hawthorn.
